Over the weekend, former President Barack Obama celebrated his 60th birthday with a star-studded bash at Martha’s Vineyard, complete with celebrity guests.

Some attendees reportedly took pictures of the videos of the event – which show Obama and other guests dancing and partying without masks – but have apparently deleted the videos

Not before others on the internet saved the footage, however.

The former president could be seen in a video that was shared on social media by singer Erykah Badu that has since been deleted.

In the video, Obama could be seen dancing with no mask with other party attendees who also went maskless, accompanied by loud music.

A spokesperson for the Obamas told Fox News, the “outdoor event was planned months ago in accordance with all public health guidelines and with COVID safeguards in place.”

ABC News reports that the event was held outdoors in a giant tent. The CDC updated their guidelines to mask up indoors in areas of high transmission.

Rapper Trap Beckham and manager TJ Chapman were also at the party where they shared photos of expensive alcohol, cigars, and cocktails, according to the New York Post.

Images of napkins, masks and party favors featuring “44X60″ was also photographed, which signified the 44th president’s 60th birthday.

Those images were also deleted.

“Had to delete everything due to the rules,” Beckham told the New York Post after the party.

“It was epic for sure,” Beckham said. “If any videos surface, it’s going viral. He danced the whole time.”

Beckham added, “Nobody ever seen Obama like this before.”

After getting backlash for his plants to hold a major event for his birthday during the COVID surge, Obama said on Wednesday that he would scale back the size of the event.

Obama Reportedly Scaled Back Event After Public Backlash

Obama said attendees who weren’t “family and close friends” would likely be asked not to come due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A spokesperson for the former first family told Fox News, “Due to the new spread of the delta variant over the past week, the President and Mrs. Obama have decided to significantly scale back the event to include only family and close friends.”

“President Obama is appreciative of others sending their birthday wishes from afar and looks forward to seeing people soon,” the spokesperson said.

Still, that didn’t stop the stars from coming out.

According to Politico, attendees included John Legend, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Erykah Badu, Bradley Cooper, George Clooney, Questlove, and Tom Hanks.

Although the big party took place on Saturday, Barack Obama celebrated his 60th on Wednesday.
