House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi admitted that a victory for Democrats in the midterm elections would provide ‘leverage’ to illegal immigrants.
The top Democrat said during a press conference in El Paso, Texas, a city that sits on the southern border, that voters who “have a completely positive view” of immigrants should side with her party in the hopes of giving “leverage” to people who enter the country illegally.
It is a shocking admission by the leader of a party that clearly supports open borders and adding illegals to their ranks. (RELATED: FLASHBACK 2014: Pelosi Says Not To ‘Politicize’ Child Detention Facilities).
“We are not going to be able to get it done under the Republican leadership in Congress,” Pelosi said addressing immigration reform. “We believe that we will have leverage when we win in November. And why that’s important?”
This is where the true colors are revealed.
“Because it gives leverage to every family, to every mom who courageously brought her child across the desert to escape, to escape death, rape, gang violence and the rest,” she explained. “Because it gives hope, because of the leverage it gives to families who may have followed — dad may have gone home for a family funeral and now can’t come into the country. All of those injustices have to be corrected.”
The injustice is that they entered the country illegally. The correction involves either having them deported or stopping them in the first place. Offering leverage to criminal illegal aliens is beyond reprehensible.

Would Pelosi be willing to make the ‘leverage’ argument to the families of those whose lives have been forever changed by a criminal illegal immigrant?
At a town hall meeting in February of 2017, Pelosi was confronted by one such person, Laura Wilkerson, an “Angel Mom” who started an organization called Enforce the Law. Wilkerson’s son was killed by an illegal immigrant.
The Democrat was arguing on behalf of sanctuary cities when Wilkerson stood up and asked, “If you need to go home tonight and line up your babies as you say, and your grandbabies, which one of them could you look in their eyes today, and tell them that they’re expendable?”
“For another foreign person to have a nicer life?” she continued. “Which one would you look to say, you, my child, are expendable for someone else to come over here and not follow the law? And have a nicer life?”
Now, Pelosi and the Democrats want to give leverage to illegals – leverage over American citizens, over American children, and over legal immigrants.
Prioritizing illegals over Americans is a staple of the party.

Not to mention their rich and vast history of prioritizing so-called ‘Dreamers’ over citizens.
“Americans are dreamers, too,” President Trump once said, insisting that any deal legalizing DACA recipients prioritize the safety and economic opportunity of American citizens.
“We’re getting ready for this,” Pelosi said of the midterms and providing leverage to Illegals.
“It’s only to come back to a place that honors our values, recognizes the importance of immigration to the success of America.”
