Michael Avenatti, Stormy Daniels’ lawyer and a possible 2020 candidate for President in the Democrat Party, tried to cash in on the Democrat’s obsession with beating Ted Cruz in Texas. While ostensibly raising money for Democrat darling “Beto” O’Rourke, supporters of the Texas Democrat realized Avenatti was skimming money off the top for his own political action committee.
Avenatti endorsed O’Rourke in his tough campaign against Republican Ted Cruz.
He got a little overzealous with that support on Thursday, when he mocked Cruz and tweeted out a link where Beto fans could donate to the cause.
“Lyin’ Ted Cruz is attacking me because I am supporting Beto,” Avenatti wrote. ‘Help us send the liar back home to Canada (sorry Canada) – chip in for Beto now.”
Fans of Beto were quick to spot a scam, calling Avenatti out for sharing a contribution page that would split the donation between O’Rourke’s campaign and his own PAC.
Avenatti tweets “chip in for Beto now” with an ActBlue link. But unless his followers click on that link in the text, they might not realize that only half of their donation is actually going to Beto. The other half goes to Avenatti’s PAC. pic.twitter.com/dNA1enZR7G

If people want to donate, they should donate DIRECTLY to Beto’s campaign donation link below.
The donation link you provided splits the money between Beto and your Fight PAC and Beto doesn’t take money from PACs. https://t.co/isQSQQsUEP

Avenatti has been one of a very few Democrats to openly state his desire to run against President Trump in 2020.
Trying to piggyback off of Beto O’Rourke’s campaign is an indication that Avenatti has one singular obsession – defeat Trump and by extension, destroy everything he has done to make America great again.
He doesn’t care if he has to scam gullible Democrats in order to achieve that goal.
Earlier this year, Avenatti told his colleagues that they “owe it to voters to be honest about their intentions regarding 2020,” and if not, they “are deceiving voters.”
Supporters for Beto didn’t hold back in denouncing Avenatti’s own deception.

It seems as if liberals are souring to the creepy porn lawyer’s used car salesman schtick.
Avenatti has been widely viewed as a catalyst for turning around perception of the Democrat smear of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, by jumping the shark and trotting out a train wreck client who had ridiculous claims tying the judge to ‘gang rapes.’
It was so over-the-top, he inadvertently created sympathy for Kavanaugh.

When CNN calls you out for being slimy, and liberal fans of Beto do the same for your shady donation scheme, you know you’re pretty much scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Avenatti, after being called out for his scam, has since deleted the tweet in question.
