Fox News host Melissa Francis is reportedly the latest Trump supporter to be denied service due to her political beliefs.

In a pair of now-deleted tweets, the former “Little House on the Prarie” star and Fox Business Channel host claimed that her family was repeatedly denied dinner service at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, N.Y., despite having a membership:

“So excited to have [Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs for the U.S. Department of the Treasury Tony Sayegh] tomorrow on @AftertheBell – happy you’re in NYC even if Siwanoy shuns my family yet again,” she tweeted. “They must prefer @CNN v @FoxNews. Oh well see you on the air!”

In another post, Francis said: “We are member [sic] of Siwanoy Bronxville but somehow, they can’t fit us in for dinner. Repeatedly. I’m sure it’s a coincidence and not something more. Right? #NeverTrumpers #cnn #HillaryForever?”

Francis reportedly deleted the tweets after Twitter users criticized her for complaining while being a “rich white lady.”

Located just 16 miles outside Manhattan, Siwanoy Country Club opened on July 4, 1901, with the purpose to “conduct a country club, maintain a clubhouse and grounds for the benefit of its members, promote social intercourse, further athletic exercise and sports and particularly the royal and ancient game of golf.” The club has not commented on Francis’s accusations.

While there are certainly more important issues than being denied country club dinner reservations, if Siwanoy truly did snub Francis’s family over her political affiliation, she has every right to be upset – particularly given the current political climate.

After White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders and her family were denied service at a Virginia restaurant in June, Rep. Maxine Waters literally invoked God to encourage liberals to harass members of the Trump administration. No upstanding American who enjoys freedom under the First Amendment should stand for such behavior. If Francis’s claims are true, the people at Siwanoy Country Club should hold themselves accountable for their actions and apologize.
