Melania Trump’s approval rating has risen to 50 percent, according to a new poll released this week.

An Economist/YouGov polls shows that, overall, more people “strongly approve” of the job Melania Trump is doing as First Lady than they do disapprove:
Fifty percent of U.S. adults approve of the job she’s doing—28 percent strongly approve and 22 percent somewhat approve—the survey found. Twenty-six percent disapproved—to some degree—of the first lady’s job performance. Twenty-six percent responded that they were not sure. Outside of job performance, nearly half the country—49 percent—viewed the first lady favorably, according to the YouGov survey.
Indeed, Melania’s approval rating is even higher than her husband’s: 44 percent approve of Donald Tump’s job performance, giving Melania an 8-percentage point lead. Even so, Trump’s approval rating is still higher than Barack Obama’s was during the same period in his first term: his approval rating dropped to 41 percent in June 2010. These poll numbers must be terrible news for liberals who wish to discredit both Trump’s presidency and Melania’s desire to be First Lady. Since assuming the role last January, Melania has acted with poise, elegance, and grace, even as the liberal media have slung mud, perpetuated rumors, and done everything in their power to throw her husband and marriage under the bus.
But Melania’s poll numbers are a testament to the fact that the American people don’t base their opinions on what the talking heads at places like CNN tell them. They make up their own minds, and they clearly love First Lady Melania Trump.
