Melania Trump Slams NYT Op-Ed Writer – You Are Sabotaging This Country

First Lady Melania Trump weighed in on the explosive op-ed published by the New York Times claiming an anonymous source from within the White House is “part of the resistance” against the administration.

Mrs. Trump slammed the writer who is hiding behind anonymity as a coward actively working against the country and the people they are supposed to be serving.

“To the writer of the oped – you are not protecting this country, you are sabotaging it with your cowardly actions,” she said in a statement.

Melania didn’t pull any punches when it came to the New York Times either, with them having eschewed any editorial and journalistic standards by allowing the author to remain anonymous.

“The press should be fair, unbiased and responsible,” she said, later adding that “People with no names are writing our nation’s history.”

The person accusing the President of erratic and unstable behavior, she believes, should “publicly stand by their words” so “people have the right to be able to defend themselves.”

It has to be pretty bad for the First Lady to comment so forcefully over this opinion piece. And to be called out for being the fake resistance warrior you are? Priceless.

It doesn’t quite ascend to the level of President Trump’s assessment that the admission of sabotage within the administration amounts to “treason,” but it’s pretty close.

Many voices inside the White House have agreed that whoever authored the piece is more ‘coward’ than resistance warrior.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders urged Americans to flood the “failing” New York Times phone lines and find out who the “gutless loser” is working to actively sabotage a man elected by the American people as their leader.

The media’s insistence at finding the author is “tarnishing the reputation of thousands of great Americans who proudly” work to advance the Trump agenda and serve the people, Sanders claimed.

She also urged the person to resign.

Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich joined the chorus by scoffing at someone “who is hiding, writing anonymously” and “hasn’t got the guts to come out in public.”

Gingrich added that if the coward doesn’t want to resign, “It’s alright.”

“Go teach at a college. They’ll love you. Go work at CNN. They’ll adore you.”

Either CNN or MSNBC, this person probably already has a gig lined up with the liberal mainstream media.
