Democrats are floating the possibility that Maxine Waters of “impeach 45” fame, may be a viable replacement for Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
In short, the only human being on the planet who might be more unhinged than Pelosi is being considered to replace her.
Pelosi has been under fire after a string of crushing election defeats, most notably the Georgia special election earlier this month. And Democrats have actually surmised that these losses have been because their party hasn’t moved far enough to the left.
So, while it may make no sense to the rest of the nation, the left appears to find it perfectly reasonable to suggest someone like Waters.

The 78-year-old Waters has emerged as the ‘new face’ of a Democrat Party ill-equipped to cope with the stunning loss of the Presidency to Donald Trump. She perfectly reflects the state of their party.

New face, perhaps. But the same ol’ incompetence as Pelosi.
Waters has been screeching about impeaching President Trump since before he even took office, and she hasn’t let up since.
She has been incoherently launching attack after attack against Trump hoping anything will stick that could lead to his impeachment – the Emoluments Clause, Russian conspiracy theories, fake ‘dossiers,’ etc.
And this is her singular goal …

That’s the platform you want your party to push?
Granted, under Pelosi, nobody seems to know what the Democrat Party stands for, except for obstructionism.
Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy recently complained that his party has been too focused on the Russia distraction, and not focused on actual policy.
“The fact that we have spent so much time talking about Russia has been a distraction from what should be the clear contrast between Democrats and the Trump agenda, which is on economics,” he said.
Who wants to talk the economy when the party can appeal to their extreme base with chants like this?
