Rep. Maxine Waters got a little taste of her own medicine, being confronted and harassed by a conservative reporter in the halls of a House office building on Monday.
Laura Loomer, a reporter, and political activist confronted Waters about her recent incendiary comments instructing her supporters to harass White House officials in public.
“If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere,” Waters screeched.
Waters’ rhetoric has since prompted lawmakers to call for her censure and resignation. (RELATED: Lawmaker Introduces Measure to Censure Maxine Waters After Calls to Violence).
Oddly enough, the California congresswoman didn’t like it when somebody ‘pushed back’ on her in a setting not nearly as public as those some Republican women have had to endure from liberal protesters.
For her part, Loomer asked some pointed questions which linked Waters’ belief that Republicans shouldn’t be able to eat, shop or get gas in public with the rest of the populace, to that of segregation.
“Should conservatives sit in the back of the bus?” she challenged. “Where should conservatives eat?”

“I confronted Rep. Maxine Waters of California regarding her call for Trump administration officials to be harassed in their everyday lives,” Loomer wrote. “Does Maxine Waters think this kind of targeted harassment is civil?”
It’s civil if it involves targeting conservatives apparently. But it’s not if it involves her friends on the left, or even herself.
In the video, Waters can be seen hiding behind papers she waves in front of the camera, pushing the camera, and escaping through a “members only” elevator.
“Maam, it’s a Members’ elevator,” one staffer explains as Loomer is ejected.
Waters can be seen sticking her tongue out at one point.
.@RepMaxineWaters stuck her tongue out at me when I confronted her yesterday.
I can’t believe it. That actually happened. 👅
The last time I stuck my tongue out at someone, I was 5 years old and then my parents spanked me. https://t.co/mErKRLrpQI

Waters can be heard repeatedly requesting that Loomer “come to my office and sit down with me,” which would be the reasonable thing to do.
Loomer knows that, however, she’s making a point by doing exactly what these far-left activists being encouraged by Waters are doing – harassing her and posting the video online.
In a motion to censure the Democrat congresswoman, Rep. Andy Biggs wrote, “Maxine Waters’ comments condone public violence and encourage actions that jeopardize the safety and security of government officials and the American people.”
He also called for her to resign and apologize to Trump officials “for endangering their lives and sowing seeds of discord.” Conservatives nationwide are also demanding Waters apologize for her vicious comments, and have started a petition online.
