Pelosi Declares ‘We Cannot Accept a Second Term’ for Trump!

At Cornell University’s Institute of Politics & Global Affairs, in New York City on Tuesday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Democrats could not “accept a second term for Donald Trump.”

“We have to make sure — this will sound political but we have to make sure that the Constitution wins the next presidential election,” Pelosi said. “We can’t be worrying about well, how long is this going to take? Well, that will take as long as it does. And we will press the case so that in the court of public opinion people will know what is right.”

Pelosi then said:

“But we cannot accept a second term for Donald Trump if we are going to be faithful to our democracy and to the Constitution of the United States.”

“And that is just the fact,” she added. “So we have to operate on many fronts. We have to operate in the Congress, in the courts, and in the court of public opinion, and we must win the next election.”

At the same event Tuesday, Pelosi also claimed Trump was “goading” Democrats to impeach him from office because he thinks it will help him fire up his base in 2020.

The Political Insider reports:

“Don’t tell anybody I told you this: Trump is goading us to impeach him,” Pelosi said Tuesday during an event hosted by Cornell University in New York City. “That’s what he’s doing. Every single day, he’s just like, taunting and taunting and taunting.”

“We can’t impeach him for political reasons, and we can’t not impeach him for political reasons,” Pelosi continued. “We have to see where the facts take us.”

Hey Nancy, is it possible your party is just trying to rile up the anti-Trump crazies by constantly teasing impeachment.

Trump is a man who tells it like it is and doesn’t hold back, but Pelosi is playing her crowd just as much as she accuses the president of doing so with Republicans.

Pelosi says Democrats “cannot accept” a second Trump term. Well, the rest of us can’t take anymore Nancy Pelosi.
