Jim Carrey Paints Humiliating Sarah Sanders Portrait – Gets Put In His Place

Jim Carrey, in case you’ve been out to lunch, has slowly been descending into madness. A madness which has amplified ever since Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016.

Most of the time, it’s best to just ignore his mental decline and simply laugh at Carrey as if he’s one of the many outrageous characters he’s developed throughout his career. Be it Fire Marshall Bill, Ace Ventura or a dead-on impersonation of the late Andy Kaufmann, we were always laughing with Jim.

Now sadly, we’re just laughing at Jim.

His most recent foray into the art world, however, was no laughing matter. Carrey posted a portrait of White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, and it immediately invoked anger in many of his own followers.

“This is the portrait of a so-called Christian whose only purpose in life is to lie for the wicked,” the former In Living Color star tweeted, “Monstrous!”

The portrait was a clear-cut effort to paint Sanders how Carrey sees her, and it’s far less than flattering.

What an embarrassing display by a man who was once beloved for his comedic genius.

Several Twitter readers responded to the display by calling Carrey out for trying to shame Sanders, while others took exception to his attempts to mock Christianity.

Thus far, Sanders and the White House have decided not to offer comment on Carrey’s reprehensible portrait. But her father, Mike Huckabee, didn’t hold back. He took particular exception to the phrase “so-called Christian.”

“Pathetic BULLY, sexist, hater, bigot & ‘Christaphobe’ @jimcarrey attacks @PressSec for her faith,” Huckabee wrote. “What would be hypocritical Hollywood reaction if he called someone a ‘so-called Muslim’ or ‘so-called Jew?’

Only Christians are fodder for Hollywood comedians, Mr. Huckabee.

Actually, considering Hollywood is being revealed of late as a bastion of misogyny and sexual harassment, you’d think Jim would have taken a more thoughtful approach to criticizing Sanders rather than painting her as a monster.

Instead, he took a dumb and/or dumber approach.
