President Trump held a rally in Tampa, Florida, Tuesday evening, and the media, particularly CNN and resident rabble-rouser Jim Acosta, were on the receiving end of a verbal beating from the crowd on hand.
Acosta attempted to do a live report but the crowd had other ideas, interjecting with loud boos and chants of “CNN sucks!”
“Wolf, just to give you a sense of what’s happening right now, you can hear there is a chorus of boos and other chants from this Trump crowd here in Tampa, Florida there, saying things like, ‘CNN sucks,’ ‘go home,’ and ‘fake news,'” Acosta whined. “Wolf, obviously all of those things are false.”
Hell, Acosta can’t even report the truth when he’s being called out by the crowd. While the network might be there to stay, an independent fact-checking analysis shows that CNN is ‘fake news’ and does indeed ‘suck.’

This isn’t the first time CNN has played foil at a Trump rally. The same chant could be heard from nearly 10,000 supporters of the President in an arena in Duluth, Minnesota in June. (RELATED: Crowd Bursts Into Spontaneous ‘CNN Sucks!’ Chant at Trump Rally).
That chant got a little prompting from Trump himself who pointed to media row saying “those very dishonest people back there, the fake news … Very dishonest.”
At another rally days later in South Carolina, Acosta faced a charged up crowd offering shouts of “Go home, Jim” and “fake news Jim.” (RELATED: CNN’s Jim Acosta Heckled at Trump Rally: ‘Go Home, Jim’).

As per usual, Acosta and his media colleagues focused on the rhetoric from the crowd and alleged that the President liked to whip up this kind of anti-media sentiment.
Perhaps, but maybe the network should focus on pivoting to more accurate reporting that could restore the journalism profession to what it once was – fair and balanced – instead.
“It’s getting ugly,” Evan Donovan of WFLA reported.
“Jim is a true professional, handling it well,” he lamented. “Easy to see this could get out of hand.” (RELATED: Watch: CNN’s Jim Acosta Ushered Out of Oval Office Like an Unruly Child).
Fox News opinion reporter Sean Hannity offered Acosta some advice on how to move forward in an age where Americans no longer trust the media.
“I’m going to actually give your network some advice, if you have an open mind and an open heart, maybe a little humility,” Hannity began.
“The people of this country, they’re screaming at you for a reason,” he explained. “They don’t like your unfair, abusively biased treatment of the President of the United States.”
Also true.
Fox News host Sean Hannity said CNN White House correspondent Jim @Acosta deserved the harsh heckling he received at President Donald Trump’s rally in Tampa, Florida tonight, due to the reporter’s supposedly “abusively biased treatment of the president.” https://t.co/aWpG0o5Pwf

You are “a liberal partisan hack, that’s why Americans don’t trust you or fake news CNN,” Hannity said of Acosta. “You pretended to be fair, and an unbiased journalist but you are not.”
