Jeff Kasky, father of Cameron Kasky, a student who made waves at CNN’s anti-gun town hall meeting, insinuated he might need bail money if he’s going to be in the same building as Florida senator Marco Rubio.
“What’s a good amount of bail money to bring to a CNN Town Hall where Marco Rubio will be speaking?” he said. “Asking for a friend.”
The social media threat comes just months after a shooter intentionally gunned down Republican lawmakers on a Virginia softball field, and Senator Rand Paul was violently attacked by his leftist neighbor.

Seems like his words are insinuating he might assault a sitting United States senator.
Needless to say, many of those who saw the social media threat didn’t think it was a great idea, especially coming from the father of somebody who’s demanding an end to violence.
Fine example you’re setting for young people, especially those still reeling from a senseless act of violence.

Awful. Your contribution is to threaten a sitting US Senator you disagree with. Low class

Kasky’s son, Cameron, compared Rubio to the actual shooter that took 17 lives at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida last week during the town hall, in one of the more despicable comments of the night.
“Senator Rubio, it’s hard to look at you and not look down the barrel on an AR-15 and not look at Nikolas Cruz,” he said, referencing the Parkland shooter. “But the point is: You’re here and there are some people who are not.”
It’s clear Cameron gets his rage toward Rubio from his father, who incidentally has a history of attacking Rubio on social media, even spreading rumors of affairs and his sexuality.
After the town hall meeting, father and son shared a touching insult for Rubio, hinting that the younger Kasky had kicked his ass.
@marcorubio It’ll feel better if you sit on a block of ice. @cameron_kasky

It’d be nice to see CNN or some other media outlet look into these incendiary comments. Had a pro-gun, pro-Trump Republican threatened a need for bail money prior to a town hall meeting with their local Democrat lawmaker, it’d be on the news 24/7.
