What a sad state of affairs in this country that political disputes have come to this.
Where once the Democrat Party, led by Barack Obama, feigned to be the party of peace, love, and acceptance, we now have a party that openly incites violence against their political opponents.
Where once Obama had denounced discourse that places “the blame for all that ails the world at the feet of those who think differently than we do,” we now hear Republicans accused of aiding a racist and abetting Nazi ideals.
Where once he urged us to talk “with each other in a way that heals, not a way that wounds,” we now hear leading Democrats openly urging their supporters to publicly harass those they disagree with politically. (RELATED: Lawmaker Introduces Measure to Censure Maxine Waters After Calls to Violence).
Such is the case of one Maxine Waters who told voters, “If you see anybody from that (Trump) cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere.”
Conservative actor James Woods responded to Waters, essentially saying – game on.
Will conservatives heed his advice?
“Now that a United States Congresswoman has called for harassment against Republicans and the inevitable violence that will come of it,” Woods wrote on social media, “I urge all of you to a) get armed, and b) vote.
“Your life literally depends on it,” he concluded.

Some agree with the concept of arming oneself for protection from unhinged liberals. (RELATED: More Violent Acts: DHS Official Finds Decapitated Animal On Front Porch Amidst Threats).
A letter recently went out to employees of the department revealing that there has been a “heightened threat against DHS employees.”
John R. Lott Jr., president of the influential Crime Prevention Research Center, said of administration officials, “Getting a concealed handgun permit would be helpful to protect themselves and their family.”
Public interest law professor John Banzhaf added, “High-level officials in the Trump administration, especially if their faces are likely to be recognized by many in the public as a result of appearances on TV, might want to consider applying for a license to carry a concealed weapon in the District of Columbia, and/or other states they frequent.”
As Woods said, get armed to protect yourself from unhinged liberals and vote to get those same maniacs out of office.
