The five-year federal investigation into Hunter Biden is nearing its end as reports have surfaced that the President’s son accepted a favorable plea deal regarding tax crimes and an illegal gun purchase.

Under the sweetheart arrangement, Biden will plead guilty to a pair of misdemeanor tax charges but will have a charge related to possessing a firearm while being an illegal drug user dropped so long as he completes a two-year period of probation.

The charge being dropped is a felony for the rest of us mere peasants.

“Hunter Biden … is unlikely to serve time in prison if he complies with release conditions,” Politico reports.

The investigation into Biden’s tax crimes and his filing of a false statement related to a gun purchase has been ongoing since 2018.

Hunter had reportedly responded “no” to a question on a Firearms Transaction Record that asks, “Are you an unlawful user of, or addicted to, marijuana or any depressant, stimulant, narcotic drug, or any other controlled substance?”

Biden was discharged from the Navy Reserve after failing a cocaine test and has an open, admitted, and well-documented history of drug use.

Trump Campaign Slams Hunter Biden’s ‘Sweetheart’ Plea Deal

The Political Insider presciently reported many months ago that news of potential charges for Hunter Biden was being met with “serious doubts that (he) would ever face punishment and would likely walk away with a slap on the wrist.”

This plea deal represents that slap on the wrist.

Biden will reportedly plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax and will enter into a pre-trial diversion agreement on the gun charge.

Pretrial diversion (PTD) programs, according to the Justice Department, “divert certain offenders from traditional criminal justice processing into alternative systems of supervision and services.”

Former President Donald Trump, himself under federal indictment, slammed the news as his campaign released a statement on Hunter Biden’s plea deal.

“Biden’s Justice Department is cutting a sweetheart deal with Hunter Biden in order to make their bogus case to ‘get Trump’ appear fair,” they said. “Meanwhile, Biden’s DOJ continues to turn a blind eye to the Biden family’s extensive corruption and bribery scheme.”

Trump had predicted that Biden would be charged with “something small” as a means to make their relentless pursuit of him “look fair.”

Did He Know Something?

The New York Post in April reported that Hunter Biden, as Trump was being arrested in New York – the result of Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s sham indictment regarding hush money payments to Stormy Daniels – was “all smiles” even as his own investigations were still ongoing.

“The first son seemed untroubled by the ongoing investigations into the millions he was paid by China in return for leveraging the power of his father’s vice presidency around the world,” reporter Miranda Devine wrote.

Why would he be troubled when this was always going to be the outcome?

President Biden and his son are currently being investigated by the House Oversight Committee over an alleged bribery scheme that took place while the former served as Vice President.

The pair are alleged to have been at the center of a multi-million dollar scheme in which they were each paid $5 million by a foreign national.

The bribe, according to lawmakers who read an FBI informant file, said it involved the Ukrainian company Burisma, where Hunter served on the board despite having no relevant experience.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) responded to news of the Hunter Biden plea deal by suggesting it was further evidence of a “two-tiered system of justice.”

“Hunter Biden is getting away with a slap on the wrist when growing evidence uncovered by the House Oversight Committee reveals the Bidens engaged in a pattern of corruption, influence peddling, and possibly bribery,” Comer stated.

Republican Senator Chuck Grassley last week dropped a bombshell revelation indicating the foreign national at the heart of the latest bribery scandal involving Biden and his son made recordings of phone calls with the two as an “insurance policy.”

There is a mountain of evidence that suggests President Biden not only knew about but was involved in his family’s influence peddling – including text messages, emails, voicemail, visitor’s logs, photographs, and on-the-record accounts.

They could have video recordings of both Biden men being handed a briefcase with dollar bills hanging out the sides and the Justice Department still isn’t going to do a thing about it.

The Biden dictatorship rolls on unabated.
