Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán Praises Trump – Says He’s The Only Man Who Can Bring Peace In Ukraine And ‘Save The Western World’

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán believes Donald Trump is the only man who can bring peace to Ukraine and, by extension, "save the Western World."

The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán believes that former President Donald Trump is the only man who can bring peace to Ukraine and, by extension, “save the Western World.”

Orbán discussed the matter of the war between Ukraine and Russia with the former Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

“Call back Trump: That’s the only way out,” he told Carlson as he advocated for “peace.”

“Call back Trump, because you can criticize him for many reasons – I understand all the discussions – but, you know, the best foreign policy of the recent several decades belongs to him,” he continued.

Orbán, whose country borders Ukraine, added that the war would never have gotten off the ground if Trump was still in the White House.

“So Trump is the man that can save the Western world and probably the human beings in the world as well,” he continued. “That’s my personal conviction.”

Hungarian PM Orbán Praises Trump’s Record On Peace

Not only did Orbán offer his own personal conviction on the matter, he also presented Trump’s track record in the realm of peace agreements and stability throughout the world to back up his argument.

“He did not initiate any new war,” Orbán accurately recalled.

“He treated nicely the North Koreans, and Russia, even the Chinese,” Orbán explained, suggesting the old adage that keeping your enemies closer sometimes works with foreign policy.

“He delivered the policy that was the best one for the Middle East, the Abraham Accords,” he noted. “So that was a very good foreign policy.”

Trump shared the clip of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s comments on his Truth Social media platform, which probably added about 15 views to the already 80+ million on X, which was formerly known as Twitter.

“Thank you, Viktor Orbán!” he wrote.

Trump’s Record On Peace

Orbán, of course, is right.

Former President Trump’s record on peace is nearly unparalleled and certainly far better than that of any other president in the 21st century.

His was the former administration that brought about the historic Abraham Accords – a series of peace deals leading to the normalization of relations between Israel and several Arab and Muslim-majority nations.

Trump had aptly described the Accords as “the dawn of a new Middle East.”

Peace arrangements in the Middle East, prior to that, were largely dismissed as impossible.

Trump’s efforts with the Abraham Accords earned him two Nobel Peace Prize nominations, while a third nomination came about for his efforts to de-escalate tensions with North Korea.

Trump offered to negotiate peace between Ukraine and Russia nearly a year ago, knowing full well that the Joe Biden administration would only continue to fund the endless war.

“Be strategic, be smart (brilliant!), get a negotiated deal done NOW. Both sides need and want it. The entire World is at stake,” he warned. “I will head up group?”

Orbán has offered words of support for former President Trump as he and other world leaders have described his arrests as being motivated by “political purposes.”

“Keep on fighting, Mr. President!” he said. “We are with you.”
