Hillary Teases ‘Rematch’ with Trump: ‘I Can Beat Him Again’

On Tuesday’s “PBS NewsHour” former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was interviewed and said that maybe there should be a “rematch” between her and President Trump.

Rematch?

“You know, it truly is remarkable how obsessed he remains with me,” the 2016 Democratic nominee said. “But this latest tweet is so typical of him. Nothing has been more examined and looked at than my emails. We all know that. So, he’s either lying or delusional, or both. There was no subpoena, as he says in a tweet this morning.”

“So, maybe there does need to be a rematch,” Clinton said. “I mean, obviously, I can beat him again.”

“But, just seriously, I don’t understand, I don’t think anybody understands what motivates him, other than personal grievance, other than seeking adulation,” she continued.

Trump vs. Clinton on Twitter

Clinton’s comments come in the wake of President Trump mockingly trying to get Clinton to jump into the 2020 election on Tuesday to make sure Elizabeth Warren isn’t the Democratic nominee.

“I think that Crooked Hillary Clinton should enter the race to try and steal it away from Uber Left Elizabeth Warren,” Trump tweeted on Tuesday. “The Crooked one must explain all of her high crimes and misdemeanors including how [and] why she deleted 33,000 Emails AFTER getting ‘C’ Subpoena!” Trump joked.

It didn’t take long for Hillary to take the bait and respond to Trumps’ “Crooked Hillary Clinton” tweet.

“Don’t tempt me. Do your job” Clinton posted.

Steve Bannon: Hillary will Run in 2020

While much of this might seem like fun and games, former senior Trump adviser Steve Bannon believes Clinton will eventually enter the 2020 race.

Speaking with Fox Business Network’s Trish Regan last week, Bannon said he thinks the Democrats are disillusioned with their current crop of candidates and are willing to drop the frontrunners and bring in Hillary or a ‘centrist’ to take down the President.

“They think they have a weak field and they’re – it’s like in chess – they’re prepared to sacrifice a rook to take down a king,” Bannon explained. “They will throw Biden away to get to Trump and hope Elizabeth or I even think Hillary Clinton or Bloomberg or some centrist comes in here.”

Bannon said Hillary is just trying to figure how to best inject herself into the Democratic primary.

“She is running,” Bannon said. “She’s just trying to decide how to fit her way in.”

Is Steve Bannon right? Will Hillary Clinton really enter the 2020 presidential election?

President Trump can only hope!
