Newly revealed excerpts from her forthcoming memoir show that President Trump made Hillary Clinton’s ‘skin crawl’ by standing behind her during a debate.
In her new book, “What Happened,” Clinton claimed that during the second debate, which had a town hall format, Trump’s presence behind her was intimidating.
It “was not okay,” she lamented.
Worse, she seemed to suggest that she was nervous because she was concerned about what he might do to her.
“Two days before, the world heard him brag about groping women,” she worried. “Now we were on a small stage and no matter where I walked, he followed me closely, staring at me, making faces.”

“He was literally breathing down my neck,” Clinton said. “My skin crawled.”
First off, he wasn’t “literally” breathing down your neck. Second, if he had been and it made your skin crawl, then you might finally know what it felt like to be a female co-worker of your husband’s.
Clinton went on to discuss her options.
“Well, what would you do?” she asked. “Do you stay calm, keep smiling and carry on as if he weren’t repeatedly invading your space? Or do you turn, look him in the eye and say loudly and clearly: ‘Back up you creep, get away from me. I know you love to intimidate women, but you can’t intimidate me, so back up.'”
Ya know, for someone who insists she can’t be intimidated, this is the second time in her political career that Clinton whined about a man supposedly ‘invading’ her space.
During a 2000 debate for a New York Senate seat, Republican challenger Rick Lazio famously challenged her to sign a pledge on soft money.
The Clinton camp complained that Lazio had bullied her – a man exerting his power over a woman.
Andrea Mitchell joined the cast of Morning Joe this morning to discuss the Clinton ‘skin crawl’ excerpt. All the hosts agreed that Trump’s actions were jarring and shocking.
Mitchell said that women understand the trauma Clinton was going through.
“Women can relate to this I think,” she said. “Every woman has had an experience with a man that is that kind of threatening moment where you suck it up and clench your fists and dig your nails into your palms and try to carry on.”
Are all of these people seriously oblivious to who Hillary is married to? The real ‘creep’? The man who provided ‘threatening moments‘ to many women over many years?
