Hillary Clinton Tearfully Reads Undelivered 2016 Presidential Victory Speech. Yes, Really

Hillary Clinton Gives 'Lessons' By Reading Undelivered 2016 Presidential Victory Speech

Hillary Clinton followed in the steps of countless actors on Sunday, as she got to pretend to be the president of the United States, if even for a short while.

The two-time loser broke down in tears as she read the victory speech she would have delivered had she beaten Donald Trump and been elected President in 2016.

Clinton appeared on an NBC live streaming platform called “Masterclass,” the premise of which, features “lessons” from “luminaries from all walks of life.”

I’m Not Bitter!

Hillary also was interviewed on “NBC Sunday” by host Willie Geist, which will air Dec. 12.

The rather pathetic video will verify what most have been thinking since election night 2016, that she has never gotten over losing the election.

Hillary introduces her “lesson” thus: “In this lesson, I’m going to face one of my most public defeats head-on by sharing with you the speech I had hoped to deliver if I had won the 2016 election.”

She adds that, “I’ve never shared this with anybody. I’ve never read this out loud. But it helps to encapsulate who I am, what I believe in, and what my hopes were for the kind of country that I want for my grandchildren, and that I want for the world, that I believe in that is America at its best.”

Standard Liberal Claptrap

Hillary Clinton’s victory speech is the same speech heard at every Democrat campaign stop. It is the same speech given at every Democrat convention.

It is standard liberal fare: “We fought a long hard campaign and have come through it together,” and “We were challenged to choose between two very different visions for America,” translation: and you peasants managed to pick the right one.

“I’ve met women who were born before women had the right to vote. They’ve been waiting a hundred years for tonight.” If Hillary Clinton met women who were born before women had the right to vote, chances are they were babies or toddlers and were not thinking about when or if they could vote, but it sounds good.

Clinton then goes on to describe how America is perpetually stuck in the 1950’s, but not for long because finally, Hillary is here to fix it all. “Where marriage is a right and discrimination is wrong. No matter who you are, what you look like, where you come from or who you love.”

It goes on, but you get the idea.

Time For Hillary’s Twilight Years

Donald Trump, whether he is loved or hated, seized on an opportunity that anyone, seasoned or otherwise, would have and should have done. Find your opponent’s weaknesses and capitalize on them.

Hillary Clinton’s weakness was scandal, a lot of it. Donald Trump did research on the Clintons and their labyrinth of political wheelings and dealings.

And while he may have been labeled many things, Trump could not be labeled as having come from the political establishment, because he wasn’t a politician.

Donald Trump was able to take what political analysts on either side of the aisle would point to as Hillary Clinton’s greatest strength, her years of political experience, and use it against her. He even gave her a nickname, “Crooked Hillary.” How did someone who is supposed to be that politically savvy not see that coming?

Social media is not being kind to Hillary Clinton reading her ill-fated victory speech. Reactions like, “pathetic,” “sad,” and “cringeworthy” are abundant.

Twitter may have to become especially harsh before Hillary Clinton gets a clue that it just might be time to go home to Chappaqua, stock up on the Chardonnay, and play with the grandkids.
