Anti-Gun Rally Was Heavily Protected by … Guns

Hypocrisy is a concept little understood by our friends on the left. So with that in mind, let’s offer up a glaring example of raging hypocrisy from anti-gun liberals who recently “March(ed) For Our Lives.”

This past weekend, Second Amendment opponents descended on Washington, D.C., led by a cavalry of uninformed high school students who haven’t been paying much attention in history class throughout their academic careers.

The rally was designed to denigrate gun owners, scapegoat NRA members as child-killers, and keep the willfully ignorant liberal sheep willfully ignorant.

The overwhelming goal of the March was to sway public opinion on banning guns – at least assault weapons, and likely any form of firearm.

While participants in the March were advocating for gun bans and further gun control, they were, quite ironically, being protected by a bevy of big, bad guns.

A reporter for the Daily Caller wrote, “Each celebrity speaker and high school activist who took the stage to give an impassioned speech condemning firearms was themselves protected by a wide arsenal firearms.”

Head, meet desk.

To be sure, this is the equivalent of having a rally to ban fast food products because they cause obesity while having Michael Moore as your guest speaker chowing on a myriad of french fries in the middle his speech.

This is nothing new, of course. Liberals have long been advocating for gun control, gun bans, and gun confiscation while hiding behind the protection of their armed security.

Bernie Sanders recently made an appearance at a rally in Washington, D.C., with students protesting gun violence, and he brought a few armed guards to really drive the point home that ‘guns are bad.’

Sanders even urged anti-gun zealots at the rally to “take out the NRA.”

Easy to say when you’re surrounded by guns for your own defense.
