Evan Sayet, one of the nation’s leading conservative, political comedians, shares some interesting thoughts about what the movie Forrest Gump can teach us about liberalism.
In this clip, Sayet explains that Gump is a movie written and produced by liberals, and the character exhibiting the traits of being the smartest left-winger is Jenny, who did “everything the liberal intellectuals told her to do.”
“The entire point of the movie Forrest Gump was that the smartest liberal was stupider than a mentally retarded conservative.”

The comedian writes, “It never ceases to amaze me not only how stupid the Modern Liberal is but that he knows that he’s stupid.”
He adds that the movie Forrest Gump reveals that self-awareness.
Sayet then goes on to explain conservatism isn’t a difficult concept to grasp.
“Being good and decent doesn’t require… a lot of deep thought, ” he says.
“Being a good conservative is very simple. Be good, be kind, be decent, look after your friends, look after your family, be responsible. Believe in things bigger than yourself.”
