A bombshell document outlining extensive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) abuse was reviewed by members of the House Thursday, and the contents “could lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and Department of Justice” according to national security correspondent, Sara Carter.
The memo was released to lawmakers and viewed in a secure room, though there is a push on social media for it to be released to the public. At the time of this publication, #ReleaseTheMemo is the number one trending topic on Twitter.
Those who have viewed the memo have been left with assessments that range from “alarming” to “explosive,” with other adjectives such as “troubling” and “shocking” peppered in between.
“The document shows a troubling course of conduct and we need to make the document available, so the public can see it,” a senior government official told Carter.
Carter also reports that several sources have said “they would not be surprised if it leads to the end of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into President Trump and his associates.”

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino believes the memo is “devastating for the Dems” and claims its release will expose former President Barack Obama as a “vengeful narcissist … hellbent on destroying Trump.”
“The former Obama administration’s going to have a lot of explaining to do,” Bongino wrote in a series of fiery tweets. “S*** is about to hit the fan.”
Several lawmakers who have seen the document have also made statements that indicate Bongino’s assessment is not hyperbole.
Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) called the report “shocking” and demanded the report be released to the American people.

Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-NY) also called for the memo’s release regarding widespread FISA abuse.

Perhaps the most devastating assessment comes from Rep. Steve King (R-IA) who viewed the document in question and said it was “sickening.”
“It is worse than Watergate,” he wrote, adding a hashtag that points to the ‘never Trump’ movement.

Fox News host Sean Hannity concurred, saying “This is far worse than Watergate.”
“This is an abuse of surveillance and intelligence to win an election,” he added. “It is a massive abuse of power, and it was all done by just a few people who think and thought they knew better than you about who should be the president of the United States.”

President Trump was famously mocked for suggesting there was such widespread abuse in the previous Administration, the FBI, and the Department of Justice. If this memo is released to the public and it shows the devastating abuse those who have seen it claim, he will have been proven right.
The witch hunt being conducted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller at the behest of holdovers from the previous Administration, the never Trump sellouts, and Hillary Clinton associates needs to end.
