This is another story that should be filed under “least surprising news ever.” Store owners in Ferguson, Missouri, say that almost three months of rioting, looting, and chaos over the Michael Brown shooting has run customers out of town.
In other words, the rioters – who were supposedly out to punish racist white cops – have hurt the very community they claim to stand for. It’s the same thing we saw after the 1992 Rodney King riots in LA. The police department didn’t suffer all that much, but local businessmen and law-abiding neighbors had their property and livelihoods destroyed.
Businesses in Ferguson say they are “going to wait and see” how to sustain what has been a tumultuous few months of riots and dramatically reduced revenue, with some local store owners saying customers are “too scared” to bring their business to the area.
Local stores and businesses throughout Ferguson expressed feelings of frustration and uncertainty as many have boarded-up windows, increased security measures and lost thousands of dollars in revenue amid protests stemming from the Aug. 9 police shooting death of Michael Brown. Many businesses said they will just have to wait and see what happens ahead of an expected November ruling on whether or not to indict officer Darren Wilson.
“We’ve lost $200 to $300 in business nightly, people are afraid to pick up in the night, after dark,” said Tammy Cao of the Hunan Chop Suey Chinese Restaurant. “People are too scared at night … I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.”

Meanwhile, millionaire “civil rights leaders” who helped stir up the riots, such as Jesse Jackson, are laughing all the way to the bank. I hope Jackson at least gives some of the money back to Ferguson store owners who have lost hundreds of dollars a day.
People like Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and Black Panther Eric Holder do now care about the town of Ferguson or the people in here. They have an agenda and that is to create a bigger divide between Blacks and Whites. They have fed Michael Brown’s mother full of cr@p too which adds to the already violence of their family life. Her actions have shown everyone the reason Michael Brown was such a defiant bully. His mother taught him well and it cost him his life
Are you kidding? Jessy Jackson and Al Sharpton could care less about the small store owners in that town. All they care about is constantly putting the white community to blame every time a black thug, rapist, murderer gets shot by a white cop. They could car less about his/her history or rap sheet. All they look at is color. And they constantly blame white cops, Never a black cop who does the same thing. Just the white cops. As far as the kid? He was a bad seed and everyone knows it. He was a bully, He more then likely committed a lot more crimes that we don’t know about, Shake downs, Robbery’s, Home invasions whether people were home are not, He may have murdered people by the time this happened. He was attacking the cop and every piece of evidence shows that. How else would you get gun powder burns or residue on his hand? You would have to be at least three feet away or holding the gun in which is described in testimony from eye witnesses. It was a significant amount that would suggest his hand was on the gun when it fired. That would have been the first shot. After that I think as he turned he had no planes on running, stoned, Very big and thought he could take the cop down. That’s why he was shot IN THE FRONT OF HIS BODY NOT THE BACK.
You hear crickets when blacks are killing blacks from Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and Black Panther Eric Holder. You hear nothing from them when a Black man kills a White Cop. That is ok with them as long as a white person doesn’t kill a black person. Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and Black Panther Eric Holder are maggots.
This was just an excuse for the blacks to riot, loot and burn everything up and say they were doing in in honor of a thug Michael Brown. They could care less that he was wrong, it was shown he was wrong but still the blacks keep up with the riots, looting and burning. What are they going to do when all the business move out of town and the town goes bankrupt. If they spent as much time looking for work and being decent maybe then life would be better for them. That isn’t their way though. The riots, and looting is what we have come to expect of them.

All whites should just pack up and move out of Ferguson and see how badly it affects the economy there and when the businesses move out too, what will they have left? Nothing. Let them have their own little pity party and blame whitey for their problems. Eventually, they’ll start turning on each other and the truth will probably come out about who the real problems are.

Some of these businesses are owned by Orientals & Blacks. A couple of weeks ago one Black owned restaurant was purposely flooded with WHITE customers showing their support of “business” in Ferguson. AND this business has strong support from local Law Enforcement. Your CHOICE of words is not part of the solution but part of the problem.
