The far-left wing of the Democrat party has pretty much become a parody of themselves lately. Whether it’s the absurdity of their recent Confederate flag hysteria, or their complete intolerance when it comes to using pronouns they feel applies to their transgender friends, liberalism is being misapplied and over-applied in almost every manner.
Now there’s this – at an annual convention for progressive extremists, two Democrat candidates for President were shouted off stage by #BlackLivesMatter activists.
Their sin started when one of the candidates dared to say that yes, not only do black lives matter, but so do white lives, and for that matter – all lives matter. Seriously.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley participated separately in a candidate discussion moderated by journalist and illegal alien Jose Antonio Vargas. Both speakers were interrupted by shouting protesters from the #BlackLivesMatter movement and were unable to continue.
O’Malley was being interrupted by protesters and, after pleas from the stage and event organizers, was allowed to continue. He went on to say, “I know, I know…Let me talk a little bit…Black lives matter, white lives matter, all lives matter,” which the crowd did not appreciate. The chants and boos got louder and the candidate left the stage.
Next came Bernie Sanders, a self-described socialist and favorite of the far left. It did not start well and went downhill from there.
Sanders was never really able to speak and had to walk off stage much as O’Malley had.
It’s not the first time liberals have gone apoplectic at hearing the words ‘all lives matter.’
Hillary Clinton, who has appeared at the Netroots Nation conference in the past, skipped this year’s event. It was probably a wise choice, as Clinton has also taken quite a bit of criticism for invoking the ‘all lives matter’ phrase. National Public Radio declared her use of the phrase “a three-word misstep.”
Only in the progressive world could a phrase like ‘all lives matter’ be deemed controversial and racist. But then, what would you expect from a party that once booed God right off of their own platform?
Is there anything the Democrat party has to offer nowadays that could be considered serious ideas, or have they been reduced to fringe extremists such as the #BlackLivesMatter movement?
