Days After Trump Warns of Violence in Portland, Video Emerges Of Man Brutally Beaten By ‘Protesters’

A brutal assault by ‘protesters’ in Portland was captured on video just days after President Trump warned mayors in Democrat-controlled cities to get the violence under control.

The latest incident of Portland violence took place just blocks away from a federal courthouse that has been the subject of controversy as federal law enforcement had been deployed to protect the site.

The video is obscene and disturbing, as a man who reportedly defended another victim of the anarchists is pulled from his truck, beaten, punched, and kicked violently to the pavement.

A police spokesman told Fox News that protesters “were chasing the truck before it crashed, and they assaulted the driver after the crash.”

The attack is reminiscent of the Reginald Denny attack during the 1992 Los Angeles riots.

This is Domestic Terrorism, Not “Peaceful Protesting”

The Daily Wire reports that the man in the video “defended someone that had been attacked” and subsequently tried to flee the scene in his vehicle.

Their report indicates he “ended up crashing into a building, at which point he was violently attacked by what independent journalists have identified as Antifa and Black Lives Matter activists.”

Journalist Andy Ngo, who has been fervently uncovering the violent left-wing group Antifa, reported that the “mob pulled him out [and] beat him senseless in front of the passenger,” adding that there were “no police” at the scene.

That passenger, according to Fox News, was a female who was also allegedly assaulted prior to the crash.

Perhaps the most shocking thing about this is the media’s insistence on calling these people ‘protesters’ when they are very clearly left-wing domestic terrorists.

Trump Versus the Democrats

Two things have happened in the past week – prior to this attack – that demonstrate the difference between Democrats and President Trump when it comes to handling domestic terrorists as seen in Portland.

Trump, in remarks made in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room on August 11th, warned mayors in Democrat-controlled cities that they needed to get the violence under control.

You know, so something like was seen in the horrifying video above doesn’t happen – or worse.

“The mayors and governors of these states and cities have an absolute duty to use all resources necessary to end the violence and all of the injury and death,” the President declared.

By contrast, Democrats have sent a very different signal to ‘protesters,’ a not all that subtle dog-whistle to keep the violence going.

Representative Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) called for “unrest in the streets” this past Friday.

Pressley accused the President of ignoring the concerns of everyday Americans, particularly when it comes to vote-by-mail schemes her party has deemed necessary to take back the White House.

“This is as much about public outcry, organizing and mobilizing and applying pressure … for this administration, putting American people in harm’s way, turning a deaf ear to the needs of our families and our communities – hold them accountable,” she said.

“Make the phone calls, send the emails, show up,” Pressley continued. “You know, there needs to be unrest in the streets for as long as there’s unrest in our lives.”

There is indeed unrest in the streets, and the Democrat Party has blood on their hands for it.
