Vet Who Lost Leg In Iraq War Spanks Anti-Gun Activist David Hogg With Savage Message

David Hogg Iraq Veteran

Anti-gun liberal, David Hogg, sure likes to lecture people, but recently he received a healthy dose of his own medicine from a rather intimidating presence.

Derek Weida, an Iraq War veteran who lost his leg during a nighttime house raid in Baghdad in 2007, wants Hogg to understand he needs to “watch what (he) say(s).”

Weida explains that his status as a shooting survivor isn’t up for debate. Hogg’s on the other hand, is. Being present in a building in which a shooting took place doesn’t necessarily make one a ‘survivor.’ And it certainly doesn’t make them an authority on anything.

As a true survivor, Weida explains that nothing about the tragedy that happened in his life makes him an expert on war. And nothing about what happened to Hogg makes him an expert on guns.

“My getting shot didn’t make me a professional on war, international relations, house raids, or guns,” he wrote on Facebook. “This horrible thing happened to me but I didn’t come home and protest the war.”

Weida says that he’s actually “kinda with the anti-gun folks” in general, but that the problem leading to mass shootings isn’t the gun itself, but the culture.

“Here’s my two cents,” he wrote. “It’s not a gun problem, not a people problem, it’s a culture thing.”

“It’s not even about the gun. It’s about the freedom and the right,” he continued. “And you can’t win an argument against that, nor should you.”

“Don’t ever be so quick to tell a whole lot of people how to live,” Weida said to Hogg. “F***ing NOBODY wants school shootings, mass shootings, shootings of any kind where somebody ends up injured or dead. Nobody.”

That’s a major distinction right there. While admitting he’s “kinda” with the anti-gun crowd, Weida still factually states that nobody actually wants to see school shootings. Nobody is that sick. But if you listen to Hogg, you’d think Second Amendment proponents and the NRA enjoy seeing dead and bloodied children.

Hogg, if you recall, was quick to call NRA members “pathetic f***ers that want to keep killing our children.”

Since Weida knows Hogg can handle the big boy language, he finished with this brutal piece of advice for the young gun resistance warrior.

“Don’t be so quick to think YOU are somehow the ONE person who has things figured out,” he wrote. “You want to make a change? Cool!! But … Try to be less of a c*** about it.”

Looks like corporal punishment is back in style because this youngster just got spanked.
