CNN ratings have continued to plummet, with the news outlet averaging a nearly three-year low in viewership last week.
The anti-Trump network is also losing out big time with key demographics sought out by advertisers.
CNN Takes a Hit
The Washington Examiner reports, “The network hit a five-year low among the key 25-54 demographic while it brought in 138,000 prime-time demographic viewers. The company averaged 643,000 prime-time viewers overall.”

Compared to industry leader, Fox News, the Examiner notes, “Fox News averaged 1.3 million viewers for its programming that week, and its prime-time listings brought in 2.2 million viewers on average and 303,000 demographic viewers.”
Fox News was followed by the Hallmark Channel, ESPN, MSNBC, and Nickelodeon.
CNN’s rapid turn downward has not gone unnoticed by Fox News itself.
Fox News Piles On
On Saturday, the conservative news behemoth reported, “CNN’s 24/7 Trump-bashing strategy doesn’t seem to be working.”
“The beleaguered network’s primetime hosts Anderson Cooper, Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon celebrated Thanksgiving with the network’s lowest-rated week in primetime viewership in nearly three years,” Fox News reported.
Fox News compared its numbers to CNN and also left-leaning MSNBC.
“Fox News averaged 2.2 million viewers during the primetime hours of 9-11 p.m. ET from Nov. 25 through Dec. 1, while MSNBC averaged 1.3 million viewers during the same time period and CNN managed only 643,000 average viewers,” Fox News continued.
The news outlet added, “It was CNN’s worst performance in nearly three years and the liberal network’s worst turnout among the key demographic of adults age 25-54 in over five years.”
CNN got their wish.
— A Trump Impeachment.
Their Wall-to-Wall Anti-Trump Coverage earned them a spot in 18th place in Prime Time ratings.
— A THREE YEAR LOW
Meanwhile, Fox New is 3rd place in Prime Time ratings, up 6%.

CNN Will Never Get It: Americans Want News, Not Propaganda
Some might blame the Thanksgiving holiday for a slow news week, but these ratings occurred during Trump’s impeachment inquiry, the controversy over the handling of Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher, Mike Bloomberg announcing a 2020 presidential bid, and the President’s surprise trip to Afghanistan.
Still, “CNN averaged only 138,000 primetime demo viewers — less than half of Fox News’ average of 303,000 during the week,” Fox News noted.

This is not a mystery: As more Americans continue to see through the impeachment circus, the news outlets most invested in going after President Trump are going to lose steam and those perceived as reporting the truth are going to gain.
CNN has been on a mission to take down this President since day one and will continue to pay a price for it in the ratings.
Americans prefer actual news to propaganda. CNN will never get it.
