There’s nothing shocking about Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer trying to squash a judicial nominee of President Trump.
In fact, it’s not shocking at all for the ‘party of no’ to simply reject any of the President’s nominees simply because they were nominated by a man they’re still in a rage over for being in the White House.
What may be surprising – maybe – is that Schumer would flat-out admit that he was voting no on a judicial nominee for the sole transgression of being white.
Cryin’ Chuck admitted on the Senate floor that he would not vote to approve the nomination of Marvin Quattlebaum for a vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina, because he is white.
Schumer said he could not vote for somebody who is white to replace two minority nominees of former President Barack Obama.
“The nomination of Marvin Quattlebaum speaks to the overall lack of diversity in President Trump’s selections for the federal judiciary,” he said. “Quattlebaum replaces not one, but two scuttled Obama nominees who were African American.”
Today @senchuckschumer says he’ll oppose nomination of Marvin Quattlebaum to serve as district court judge in South Carolina.
`Quattlebaum does not replace one, but two, scuttled #Obama nominees who were Afircan-American,’ Schumer says.

“As of February 14th, 83 percent of the President Trump’s confirmed nominees were male, 92 percent were white,” Schumer complained. “That represents the lowest share of non-white candidates in three decades.”
“It’s long past time that the judiciary starts looking a lot more like the America it represents. Having a diversity of views and experiences on the federal bench is necessary for the equal administration of justice.”
Check out Schumer’s outrageous comments below …
Schumer added that the Trump Administration is “taking a giant step backward, this time when it comes to diversity of their nominations.”
He made these racially charged comments on the floor of the United States Senate!
Imagine if you will, that the names, the parties, and the races were switched on these comments. The outrage, rightfully so, would be off the hook.
Where will it be now that Schumer has derailed the judicial career of a man simply because he’s white?
