BERLIN, GERMANY - MAY 02: Whistle blower and activist Chelsea Manning, in what she said is her first strip outside of the United States since she was released from a U.S. prison, speaks at the annual re:publica conferences on their opening day on May 2, 2018 in Berlin, Germany. Maryland Democratic Senate candidate Chelsea Manning wants to abolish U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) because she believes the agency is preparing for an “ethnic cleansing.”

One glance at Manning’s campaign website proves that she wants to turn America into a socialist paradise. Her platform issues include universal healthcare, universal basic income, and decriminalization of sex work, but she lists closing ICE and opening America’s borders as priority No. 1.

“I.C.E. is stoking fear against millions of immigrants across the nation,” Manning’s campaign site claims. “These are the tactics of an authoritarian regime beginning an ethnic cleansing. As with any attempted ethnic cleansing, we should forcefully resist any such tactics.”

One has to wonder what exactly Manning means by “forcefully resist.” Is she advocating violence? Considering that she supports the Antifa, it seems so.

And given Manning’s support of violent resistance groups like Antifa, it’s no wonder that she also wants to close prisons. “The prison system cannot be reformed. Our prison system must come to an end, and our prisoners need to be freed,” her website states.

Indeed, it doesn’t seem Manning desires socialism as much as she does anarchy.

Thankfully, Manning’s campaign is a long shot. She’s running against six other Democrats for the chance to unseat 74-year-old Sen. Ben Cardin, who is seeking his third Senate term and previously served 10 terms in the U.S. House. If Manning’s primary bid fails, she’s said she won’t run as an independent.
