The Cheesecake Factory has opened an investigation into an alleged attack on a black Trump supporter at a Miami restaurant on Mother’s Day.
According to multiple witnesses, restaurant employees verbally attacked and made threatening gestures toward 22-year-old Eugene Joseph as he dined with his girlfriend’s family simply because he was wearing a “Make America Great Again” hat.
Remember how the liberals freaked out when two black guys got kicked out of Starbucks?
Here’s betting they’ll ignore this story, or even make excuses to justify it.

Several witnesses and Joseph himself told The Daily Wire that a woman who worked at the restaurant approached him and started pointing at his hat while waving for her coworkers to come over. “Her finger was literally on top of his head, we were all looking at her like ‘what is happening?'” one witness said. “She was pointing at him, calling her other coworkers, telling them to look at this guy wearing a Make America Great Again hat.”
Approximately a dozen other employees joined the woman in harassing Joseph. Several threatened physical violence, while others referred to him as a “n***er.” Another witness described the employees as a “lynch mob.”
Joseph then attempted to exit toward the restroom, but the mob followed him. “I got up and went to the restroom, my girlfriend followed me, and as we were walking back, a group of [the employees] came out from the back and they just started clapping and yelling, and just screaming things at me,” he said.
The scene was so traumatic that an elderly woman at the restaurant reportedly had to take medication to calm herself. Video evidence viewed by The Daily Wire also shows a young girl crying at the table, frightened by the employees.
As Joseph and his girlfriend’s family left the restaurant, the manager reportedly followed them out and informed them that one of the employees had been sent home. The family also encountered the police outside the restaurant and documented the incident in a police report. However, they did not press any charges.
The Cheesecake Factory initially did not respond to requests for comment. However, on Monday Alethea Rowe, Senior Director of Public Relations at The Cheesecake Factory, issued a statement that they have opened an investigation into the incident:
No guest should ever feel unwelcomed in one of our restaurants and we are taking this matter very seriously. Upon learning of this incident, we immediately apologized to the guests in person. We are conducting an investigation and will take the appropriate corrective action.
However, contrary to Rowe’s statement, Joseph says that The Cheesecake Factory has not reached out him and did not apologize to him in person immediately afterward.
It goes without saying that the actions of the responsible Cheesecake Factory employees are unacceptable behavior for a human being, let alone servers who are expected to treat customers with kindness and respect.
Unfortunately, their behavior is also what we’ve come to expect from the intolerant, regressive, racist left. They expect Joseph, as a black man, to stand opposed to Trump – and any independent thought to the contrary is deemed traitorous.
