Veteran Democrat Congressman Says Nancy Pelosi Will Be Gone in 2019, Win or Lose

Bill Pascrell, a New Jersey Democrat serving in Congress for over twenty years, is predicting that no matter the results of the 2018 midterm elections, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi will step aside.

“I would expect that we would have, win or lose, new leadership by January 1, 2019,” Pascrell told the Atlantic. “She would love nothing more than to win, and then she’ll get out.”

The rest of America would love nothing more than for her to simply ‘get out.’

Pascrell has been a Democrat who has sided with and sided against Pelosi over their many years together in Congress, making such a prediction benefit neutral.

The Political Insider recently reported that numerous Democrats had been berating Pelosi’s leadership skills. One who spoke on the condition of anonymity even said, “For us to go into this election with her as our leader is absolute insanity.”

“No one in their right mind would think this is a good idea.”

To be fair, people in their ‘right mind’ aren’t exactly overflowing in the Democrat Party.

Pelosi has previously promised threatened to retire before, saying she had considered doing so if Hillary Clinton had won the presidency in 2016.

“If Hillary had won, I was ready to go home,” Pelosi said in a March 2017 interview.

It doesn’t matter really, the Democrats are always prepared to replace one vile leader with another. Who could take Pelosi’s spot if she does leave in 2019?
