As Venezuela’s SOCIALIST Government Attacks Their Own Citizens, AOC and Bernie SAY NOTHING!

As the uprising in Venezuela against socialist dictator Nicolas Maduro continued on Tuesday, his government unleashed tanks and other violent force against the protesters. The tragic scenes were precisely the kind of horrors American liberals have warned might happen should President Donald Trump become the “next Hitler.

Self-described socialist politicians Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Bernie Sanders have issued the same warnings about Trump, but as this violence happens in the streets of Venezuela, neither have had a thing to say about it.

Authoritarian violence must not be as bad when they’re occurring under socialist regimes.

Fox News reported Tuesday, “Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó took to the streets on Tuesday, calling on citizens and the military to back him up in the ‘final phase’ of the interim president’s plan to end the regime of socialist President Nicolás Maduro.”

“Guaido’s announcement immediately drew support from politicians in the U.S., which said earlier this year it would recognize Guaidó as the country’s interim president,” Fox News noted.

Even after a disturbing video of a Venezuelan government armored military vehicle driving over protesters emerged, nothing was heard from either “AOC” or Sanders.

If Trump had merely mentioned retribution against protesters in some speech, you just know both of them would have been all over it.

As of this writing, nothing about the Venezuelan protests–much less the government violence inflicted on citizens–has been mentioned from either Ocasio Cortez’s or Sanders’ Twitter accounts.

Instead, as The Daily Wire reports, “Sanders, who was also silent about the events in Venezuela, was busy doubling down on his belief that terrorists who have murdered American citizens should have the right to vote in U.S. elections while incarcerated.”

Ocasio-Cortez’s latest tweets as of this writing are about wage gaps and affordable living.

Why the silence? Do you really have to ask?
