Anderson Cooper’s official, blue check-marked Twitter feed posted a response to President Trump that included the words “you tool” and “pathetic loser.” But the CNN anchor is insisting his account was hacked.
The response came to an early morning tweet from Trump regarding last night’s Alabama Senate election, which saw Democrat Doug Jones defeat Republican Roy Moore.
The President lamented that he had originally endorsed Luther Strange in the primary, thinking he was a better fit to capture the general election.
The reason I originally endorsed Luther Strange (and his numbers went up mightily), is that I said Roy Moore will not be able to win the General Election. I was right! Roy worked hard but the deck was stacked against him!

Cooper’s Twitter feed responded, “Oh Really? You endorsed him you tool! Pathetic loser.”
It has since been deleted, but we have the goods right here …
Naturally, Cooper and CNN went with the ‘my account was hacked’ excuse for their defense of an indefensible tweet.
This morning someone gained access to the handle @andersoncooper and replied to POTUS. We’re working with Twitter to secure the account.

Cooper claimed that he had just awoken to the news of his Twitter feed becoming a viral sensation.
just woke up to find out someone gained access to my twitter account. i have not sent a tweet in days or replied to any tweets. We are looking into how this happened.

Seriously, in the history of the “my account has been hacked” excuse, has there ever ultimately been an actual hacking? Ever?
Didn’t Anthony Weiner go with this excuse a few times?
Twitter #Poll: @CNNPR is claiming “someone gained access to the handle @andersoncooper” after Anderson Cooper’s account replied to @realDonaldTrump tweet calling him “a tool.”
Do you believe CNN?

Ultimately, we’ll likely find out that it was somebody at CNN authorized to use the official Anderson Cooper Twitter feed who made the disgraceful comments. Not some rogue hacker who decided to have some fun.
Or maybe, just maybe, it was the Russians who hacked Cooper’s account.
Do you think Cooper’s account was hacked? Do you think he sent the tweet? Or was it some other CNN employee, which would be just as bad? Share your thoughts below!
