“Little did she know that he would be Facetiming her from downstairs”

Eric,’s wife, Meredith Morski, told Charlotte’s FOX 46 that her husband had planned to surprise their daughter while she was eating breakfast.

During breakfast, Iliana and her dad would often Facetime. She would be having breakfast while her dad would be having dinner due to the time difference.

But this time he had a trick, He would begin Facetime, while unbeknownst to her, he was actually in the house.

This all happened as Eric snuck into the house while a babysitter was there.

According to Fox 5:

“She was upstairs in her room about to go to sleep when I told her he wanted to Facetime her before she went to bed, like they normally do,” Meredith said. “Little did she know that he would be Facetiming her from downstairs.”

When Iliana realizes her dad is in the house and not thousands of miles away, she gets instantly excited and leaps off the bed. Running down the stairs she exclaims “daddy, daddy, daddy!” over and over before jumping into his arms.

The love little Iliana shows for her dad Eric is incomparable – and their little dog Oliver, who can’t stop jumping up and down, is super excited too.

For the entire next year, Captain Eric Morski will be stationed at Fort Bragg with his family. No doubt, Iliana and Meredith both like that. Oliver too!

It’s a wonderful Christmas scene that reminds us what’s most important, especially during the holiday season. Cherish the time spent with your loved ones.

Merry Christmas!
