You’re Going to See A Lot More of Sarah Sanders on Fox News

Sarah Huckabee Sanders interviewed by her dad

Fox News announced Thursday that former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be joining the network as a political commentator.

She is scheduled to make her first appearance with “Fox & Friends” on Friday, September 6th.

“The 37-year-old will provide political commentary and analysis to Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, Fox News Digital, Fox Nation and the radio/podcast division,” the network reported.

Sanders spent approximately two years taming a hostile media in the White House, consistently swatting down ‘fake news’ stories and putting agenda-driven ‘journalists’ in their place.

“Fox News has been the number one news organization in the country for 17 years running and I am beyond proud to join their incredible stable of on-air contributors in providing political insights and analysis,” Sanders said in a statement.

If only new outlets were like baseball teams with a certain number on the roster – then perhaps Shepard Smith could be sent down to the Minors to make room.

Owns April Ryan and Jim Acosta

Sanders made a name for herself during her tenure by consistently swatting away liberal journalists pretending to be legitimate journalists.

April Ryan, for example.

She crushed Ryan when the CNN journo said Trump had to start “lopping heads off,” accusing Sanders of lying to the media. She baked a pie when Ryan accused of not being able to bake a pie. And she obliterated Ryan when the reporter questioned criticism of Democrats after Trump’s first State of the Union speech.

She also had a field day in handling the obnoxious Jim Acosta.

Sanders once forced Acosta to walk out of the room when she refused to denounce the President’s statement that the media is the “enemy of the people,” accused him of finding it difficult “to understand even short sentences,” and even suggested that her whining kids have helped prepare her for dealing with him.

Upping Her Public Profile?

Could Sanders be using her role as a contributor to the number one news network in America to increase or improve her public profile?

Upon news of her leaving the administration, President Trump offered full praise for Sanders and even gave her an endorsement to run for office.

“She is a very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job!” Trump beamed. “I hope she decides to run for Governor of Arkansas – she would be fantastic.”

Sanders, whose father, Mike Huckabee, served as governor of Arkansas from 1996 to 2007, has been rumored to be contemplating a run in 2022. Polls suggest she’d perform pretty well.

She very recently attended an exclusive Republican Governors Association-hosted retreat, stoking further rumors that she may throw her hat in the ring.
