Like a tenacious pup, once I get a chew toy, I just can’t put it down. For the past six months or so, one of my favorite ‘chew toys’ is that of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Diversity Chief Kelisa Wing and her grammatically inaccurate, racist tweets.
I never thought we’d see the day when we’d find out the results of the 30-day probe that turned into a six-month investigation into the racist and divisive tweets of this self-proclaimed ‘woke administrator.’ Yet, here we are, thanks to the tenacity of a select few GOP lawmakers with some backbone.
Who knows, maybe we will eventually learn who really killed JFK and who sabotaged the Nord Stream pipeline after all! Until then, grab your favorite cup of Joe, and let’s find out what happened to Kelisa Wing.
Equity & Inclusion Chief Will Face Zero Consequences After Spewing Anti-White Racist Comments

Slap On The Wrist
It was finally revealed during one of those pesky Republican-led congressional hearings that Kelisa Wing had been reassigned from her previous position as the Chief of Diversity for DoDEA – the department that services all of the schools on military installations that educate the children of our service members.
However, don’t get too excited; her reassignment was not due to any “disciplinary action” but instead was “part of a headquarters restructuring.”
What does Ms. Wing do now? Who knows, but my money is that she’s filling the same role, just with a different title and under a different office.
Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Gilbert Cisneros Jr. told Congress that the Pentagon:
“…determined the employee was speaking in a personal capacity…as a result the Director, DoDEA took no disciplinary action.”
The chief diversity, equity and inclusion officer at the Department of Defense Education Activity, Kelisa Wing, described herself on Twitter as a "woke administrator."

As a refresher, the “personal capacity” Mr. Cisneros referenced is Wing’s many tweets in which she openly disparages white people, particularly white women. Much to Mr. Cisneros’ dismay, no doubt, he got to relive the tweet that shook the DoD thanks to Congresswoman Elise Stefanik.
Hate To Be That Guy
The tweet which Congresswoman Stefanik asked Mr. Cisneros to read aloud was:
“This lady actually had the CAUdacity to say that black people can be racist too…I had to stop the session and give Karen the BUSINESS…We are not the majority, we don’t have the power.”
The US Department of Defense announced Kelisa Wing, DEI Chief, won't be disciplined for her anti-white Tweets.
Jesse Watters' segment on Wing is hilarious because it shows white women applauding Wing immediately followed by how Wing, and many others like her, view those allies. pic.twitter.com/1aCyleZbl1

When asked his thoughts on the above tweet, Mr. Cisneros clumsily admitted:
“I do agree that that is not acceptable. It’s not condoned by, it’s not something I would condone, and it’s not condoned by…the Department of Defense.”
Clearly it is, because she still has a job at the DoD.
But then, Congressman Matt Gaetz jumped into the fun and asked Mr. Cisneros:
“What does ‘Caudacity’ mean?”
To which Mr. Cisneros said, “I have no idea.”
Congressman Gaetz wasn’t having that lame answer as he shot back:
“I think you know. I think every person that’s going to watch this exchange knows, you know, it’s she’s trying to lash audaciousness with someone being Caucasian, isn’t she?”
To which Mr. Cisneros repeated:
“I have no idea. We do not support racist tweets. We do not support racism.”
Except, of course, when you do.

It Gets Better
After Mr. Cisneros claimed that the Department of Defense doesn’t support racism or racist tweets, Congressman Gaetz asked one of the best questions of the entire exchange:
“Well, did you fire this lady?”
And to Mr. Cisneros’ credit, his answer was pretty stellar:
“I did not hire her.”
Oh man, I need a minute to compose myself from uproarious laughter. What a fantastic reply; this poor shmuck was basically handed over to the Republicans like a sacrificial lamb to the slaughter.
Congressman Gaetz followed up with the following:
“Mr. Cisneros, can black people be racist, too?”
To which Mr. Cisneros replied:
“I’m not going to answer that, congressman.”
The correct answer is yes; black people can be racist. So why not answer such an easy and what should be an innocuous question?
UPDATE: Kelisa Wing, the Pentagon's "Diversity Chief" will receive no disciplinary action after a probe into her anti-white posts.
Now, imagine what would have happened had a white diversity chief said what she said about black people. https://t.co/JfilGzv1Dr

Because a white man correctly stating that black people can be racist almost definitely seals your fate as soon-to-be unemployed, unlike blatantly spouting racist comments against white people.
That merely gets you reassigned.

The Woke Military
Former CIA Director Mike Pompeo said of the news that Kelisa Wing wasn’t fired:
“The Pentagon’s decision makes obvious that the Biden administration agrees with Kelisa Wing and her statements on race.”
I’m not sure I fully agree with Mike; I think the decision makes evident that this administration, like many on the left, is a slave to the woke ideologies and the special interest groups that fund their campaigns. While Ms. Wing may have been reassigned, the prevalence of diversity positions in the DoD is still an issue.
Senator Eric Schmitt wrote a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin asking him to:
“…identify how many DEI-related positions exist in the Department of Defense, broken down by service branch.”
This is after the Senator unearthed two such positions already:
- Navy – an administrative specialist for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility
- Air Force – supervisory diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility
How much do these positions pay? A whopping $183,500 – clearly, I have chosen the wrong line of work.

Lethality vs. Effectiveness
Not everyone in DC agrees that the military has gone woke and is weakened by hires like Kelisa Wing.
Democrat Senator Jack Reed claims:
“Diversity and inclusion strengthen our military. By every measure, America’s military is more lethal than it has ever been. It is also more diverse and inclusive than ever before. And this is not a coincidence – our military looks more and more like the nation it represents.”
Given that our country is plagued by mental health issues, obesity, and plummeting math and literacy scores, I’m not sure the representation is all that great. I would also argue that just because we have more advanced weaponry, which equates to our lethality, doesn’t ensure we have an effective military.
If the people running the show and firing the weapons are too broken, fat, and dumb to operate said weaponry, we are destined for failure.
Senator Tom Cotton counters:
“If President Biden wants to know why he has a recruitment problem and low morale, he need look no further.”
Between extremism training for the soldiers and children’s books like Kelisa Wing’s What is White Privilege in DoD schools, who could blame any young American who decides to take a hard pass at serving their country?
