Whoopi Goldberg to Ocasio-Cortez: Learn Your Job Before You Start Criticizing Democrats

Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of “The View,” told Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that she should learn the job of being a congresswoman before attacking establishment Democrats.

The longtime actress advised Ocasio-Cortez to “sit still” and “learn the job” first, before taking a shot at others.

Goldberg was responding to a “60 Minutes” interview in which the New York socialist vowed to continue supporting primary candidates in an attempt to unseat incumbent Democrats.

CNN’s Anderson Cooper told Ocasio-Cortez that her slash-and-burn tactics were “politically dangerous,” to which she replied: “It’s absolutely risky. It requires risk to try something new, but also we-we know so much of what we’ve tried in the past hasn’t worked, either.”

It was a clear shot at the old regime from the 29-year-old newcomer.

Whoopi Responds As Only She Can

In a rather colorful statement, Goldberg responded to Ocasio-Cortez’ attack on the establishment, “I would encourage you to sit still for a minute and learn the job.”

“It is very, very difficult when people make accusations where you say, you know, the Democrats have done nothing, the establishment of the Democrats have done nothing,” Goldberg lashed out.

“You don’t have to be born into it,” she added. “You don’t have to know it when you step out, but before you start p**ping on people and what they’ve done, you got to do something too.”

“The View” host specifically named  lawmakers John Lewis and Dianne Feinstein as Democrats who have accomplished things well before Ocasio-Cortez came onto the scene.

Her Co-Hosts Agreed

It’s not a good sign for one’s socialist career when the ladies of “The View” all seem to be in agreement, and yet here we are.

Joy Behar agreed that Ocasio-Cortez hasn’t done anything yet and is still attacking the old guard. “She hasn’t done that,” Behar concurred after Goldberg’s comments.

“That’s well said,” Abby Huntsman chimed in. “That’s really well said.”

Sunny Hostin added, “And there’s room for new energy,” before Goldberg added, “There’s absolutely room, but you can’t p**p on what was when you’re coming in on the shoulders of quite a few giants.”

Ocasio-Cortez Was “P**ping on People” Before She Even Got Into Office

A coordinated attack from one of the left’s biggest sources of propaganda is by no means an accident. The old guard isn’t pleased with the attention Ocasio-Cortez has been getting, and they certainly haven’t been pleased with the way she’s gone about her business.

In November, months prior to actually being seated in the House, Ocasio-Cortez took part in a climate-change protest with activists who were carrying “Stand up or step aside signs” meant for Nancy Pelosi. The protest was held in Pelosi’s own office.

In their first battle, the New York Democrat joined other radical leftists in opposing a House rules package that included a pay-as-you-go provision, PayGo, requiring new spending to be offset either by budget cuts or tax increases.

The fight between elders in the Democrat Party and the media darling has been ongoing for some time, but it will be interesting to see if the media joins people like Goldberg in calling Ocasio-Cortez out for her juvenile behavior.
