Voice of the Benghazi Cover Up Susan Rice Accuses Trump of ‘Despicable Lies’ Regarding Obama, Iran

Former national security adviser Susan Rice accused President Trump of fomenting “despicable lies” regarding Barack Obama and Iran.

The audacity for somebody whose biggest contribution to the American people was blatantly lying to them – repeatedly – about the terrorist attack in Benghazi, to accuse somebody else of lying, is off the charts.

“This is another series of despicable lies by President Trump,” Rice said in an interview with MSNBC. “The fact that three years after taking office he remains obsessed with President Obama shows President Trump’s extreme weakness & insecurity.”

First off, what President Trump has said regarding Obama and Iran is provably true.

Second, I’m old enough to remember her former boss spending the entirety of his eight-year presidency blaming George W. Bush for everything that happened during that failed tenure. How weak and insecure was he?

The Truth

President Trump on Wednesday hammered Obama for providing cash to Iran, allowing them to finance the missiles that were launched at American troops.

Trump was referencing $150 billion in assets that were held in overseas accounts and sent back to Iran, as well as the nearly $2 billion he gave (on pallets) as leverage to ensure three American prisoners were released, giveaways put into motion through Obama’s 2015 nuclear deal with the rogue nation.

Each of these constitutes definitively accurate assertions.

Suzanne Maloney, deputy director of the Foreign Policy program at the Brookings Institution, testified before Congress on the beneficiaries of the Iran nuclear deal in 2015:

The totality of European Union sanctions, including the embargo on Iranian oil and prohibitions on energy investment, will evaporate. And nearly all of the American measures that had effectively severed Iran’s economy from the international financial system will be waived, permitting somewhere in the realm of $100 to $150 billion in Iranian assets that had been held in overseas accounts to flow back into Iran.

Rice Was a Liar, Continues to Be a Liar

If Susan Rice is asserting the money wasn’t used to fund Iran’s terrorist activity, well, that is also a ‘despicable lie.’

Former Secretary of State John Kerry acknowledged this would happen in an interview with CNBC.

“I think that some of it will end up in the hands of the IRGC or other entities, some of which are labeled terrorists,” he said in the interview. “You know, to some degree, I’m not going to sit here and tell you that every component of that can be prevented.”

Kerry was referring to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps, the group in which General Qassem Soleimani, the terrorist extinguished by order of President Trump recently, served.

Rice also recently asserted that the Obama administration “was not presented with an opportunity by our intelligence community or by the U.S. military to strike Qassem Soleimani.”

The reality is, the Obama administration never seriously tried to find Soleimani because it could have hurt their precious legacy nuclear deal.

“Nobody could begin to be sure what would come next if Soleimani were killed, and no scenario looked good,” the Daily Beast reports. “And in those days the priority was stopping Iran from developing a nuclear weapon without having to go to war. The murder of Soleimani could have scuttled the negotiations.”

Rice recently revealed in a new book that, following the terrorist attack in Benghazi, she was pushed to do five Sunday television interviews, blaming the attack on a YouTube video, by the Obama administration as a means to cover for Hillary Clinton.

They knew she was an effective liar. They knew, like them, that she was despicable. Yet Susan Rice sits here today throwing stones at President Trump from her glasshouse.
