Dashcam video from an Arkansas police officer shows the moment an illegal immigrant opened fire after being pulled over during a traffic stop.
The exchange demonstrates how somebody with little regard for the law might act in very ordinary situations such as a traffic violation, and it shows the very real danger law enforcement poses in dealing with those who fail to respect law and order in this country.
“Washington County Corporal Brett Thompson initiated a traffic stop on the driver of a vehicle … for a traffic violation,” a statement reads on the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. “The driver refused to stop.”
“Corporal Thompson exited his vehicle,” the post continues, when “the driver immediately opened his car door and began shooting at Corporal Thompson.”

The sheriff’s office also released combined dashcam footage from Corporal Thompson’s vehicle which shows the chase, as well as the shooting alongside video from a bystander.
ICE says Cobos-Cenobio is an DREAMer in the US under “DACA”
Fox News reports that “Cobos-Cenobio has been jailed on $500,000 bond, and has had a detainer placed on him by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement,” something an agency spokesperson confirmed.
Washington Times notes that Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirmed Cobos-Cenobio is a “DREAMer” in the US thanks to Barack Obama’s “DACA” program.
While he had originally been speaking of MS-13 gang members, this video is a stark reminder that President Trump’s assessment that some people who enter the country illegally are, in fact, criminals.
Remember, it was media wingnuts on the left who actually took the side of animals like Cobos-Cenobio after Trump made his controversial remarks.

Fortunately, in this instance anyway, the illegal was detained and no police officers were harmed during the shootout.
