Vice President Kamala Harris Declares ‘My Pronouns Are She And Her’

On Wednesday, Vice President Kamala Harris declared her “preferred gender pronouns” to a group of gay and transgender activists, saying, “I want to thank you and welcome you for being here.”

Harris then declared, “My pronouns are she and her.”

The event was part of a discussion for “pride month.”

Harris Brags That She Is The First VP To Invite LGBT Activists Into The Ceremonial Office

The exchange took place in the vice president’s ceremonial office where Harris spoke in front of a placard that put her preferred pronouns after her name.

Harris touted that she was the first vice president to welcome LGBT activists, and seemingly referenced the fact that former Vice President Mike Pence and even former Vice President Joe Biden never extended such an invite.

“You are the voices of so many who probably never have walked into this room, and over the course of time probably weren’t thought to be invited into this room,” Harris said.

Harris: ‘We Know The Issue In Terms Of The Experiences Our Transgender Youth Are Having’

Harris then zeroed in on Republican leaders at all levels who seek to prevent biological males from competing in women’s sports.

The vice president said, “We know the issue in terms of the experiences our transgender youth are having around the country.”

Harris criticized GOP bills across America that included “prohibiting transgender youth from receiving medical care and participating in sports, the prohibition on transgender people using the restroom, voter rights.”

“We’ve come a long way and there’s still so much work to get done,” Harris said to the group.

A number of high profile athletes have come out against biological men competing in women’s sports.

Even a transgender Olympic runner, Caitlyn Jenner, who won a gold medal in the 1972 Olympics as Bruce Jenner, has been outspoken against the idea.

“This is a question of fairness,” Jenner said in May. “That’s why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls’ sports in school.”

“It just isn’t fair,” Jenner insisted. “And we have to protect girls’ sports in our schools.”
