Veterans Group Makes a HUGE Announcement About Donald Trump / John McCain Controversy

This is my honest opinion and I could be wrong but that’s what I love about this country. In the past we have many different administrations onces Republicans other Democrats and yes I agreed that Veterans need better care as I have experienced with my husband. But reality is that neither of those administrations have done anything. Congress have done nothing for our veterans or maybe I am wrong. So to make it clear and perhaps like a conservative will think anything that Goverment tries to manage at the end does not work. If we follow that thought perhaps what is best for our Veterans if for the Goverment not to deal with it which means to privatize the Veteran health system which might result in Veteran paying for medical services. Yes, this might be a solution but the question is can Veterans afford this when more than half are currently living out of their disability check. I do not think so. Now according to Trump Veterans plan he wants Veterans to have the opportunity to go to any doctor and that will be awesome but the question raised again who is paying for the services. If it is like Medicare like he proposed then those Veterans will need to pay just like any retired person under Medicare pays. I do believe that the Government should help then as they have help the Government in keeping this country safe but is foolish to think that a candidate either Trump or Clinton will be able to do it so easy if the people in Congress do not put their act to work.

I am everything the “Donald” has slammed in his speeches. I’m an immigrant. I’m from a Muslim country. I’m also a US Air Force veteran and currently a DoD contractor. I’ve served my country either as a defense contractor, active duty, and reserves since I was 17 years old. If Trump becomes president, I will actually be scared and paranoid and will probably leave the country. I’m not hanging around waiting for them to take me to some “Camp”. The Jews who stayed in Germany thinking nothing will happen were dead wrong. The Japanese who stayed here were interned. I do not trust Trump. He is actually getting away with slamming that Gold Star family! What is happening to my country?

The Republicans voted down 6 bills that would have helped our veterans already. The money from the so called Veterans fundraiser on the Iowa was funneled into the Trump foundation and he hasn’t given the money he had promised. Just FYI.

Millions of people died to achieve a victory on May 8, 1945. Trump represents that same type of evil. We are supposed to learn from history.

The military understands Trump: if you hit him, he’ll hit you back–it doesn’t matter who you are.

In defense of Kathleen, and being a 20 year veteran who served my country proudly I can and will call Trump a dodger, scam artist, disrespectful whack job. Does that sound better coming from a Veteran?

Kathleen I see you say your a mother of a Vet. Well that sure is nice. I didnt see that that you were a vet. You look to be in your fifties of this I am not sure. What I will ask is you want to talk about Mr. Trump not going to war and calling him a “coward and a draft dodger”. I wonder if you hold yourself in the same regard. I being a Veteran wonder why didnt you join instead of living thru your child. I mean there have been plenty of chances for you to join any one of the Branches of the Military. To call someone a Coward or a draft dodger when you yourself didnt go to Vietnam, Desert Storm or Shield, Somalia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq or Afghanistan. So if you do some research you will find that Clinton did not go to war, Bush GW did not go to war and got a deferment from his service, Obama differently did not go to war, Hillary did not go to war, Bernie did not go to war, Yet you want to Call Trump a “coward and a draft dodger”. Wow to me that the pot calling the Kettle black now isnt it. What I would suggest is you do some searching about Trump. So next time when your trying to live through your Kid you might want to think “Hey I didnt serve so should I every call someone I know nothing about a “coward and a draft dodger” Thank you.

Kathleen, if you would study what happened to #Trump during the time period when he could have gone to war and then take into consideration that now he is volunteering to become Commander in Chief of the whole thing (BIG responsibility) you would probably be embarrassed. Please reconsider.

Whether this group is one man or 2000 men the facts are John McCain was a POW and hero during the Vietnam War. Donald Trump was a coward and a draft dodger. How can any one trust his love and support for a military he refused to join. Other young men refused to submit to the draft and went to jail, some fled the country, rich kids got phony 4F’s and the HERO’S answered their countries, call many died. I come from a long line of men who fought for their countries, my father was a disabled WWII Vet and my son a Vet. of Desert Storm, 7 years in the USMC. Don’t brag about Donald Trump to me .Proud mom of a vet. !!!

Trump had a total of 5 draft deferments as a college student until 1969 when the draft lottery was enacted. I believe the highest number reached in this lottery was between 250 and 300. He said his number was close to 360. However in college he was a C student. He only gained entry into college because gave million dollar donations and because he is a legend–related to an alumnus. This does not grant him to right to denigrate John McCain for being a POW.
