Tulsi Gabbard: Durham Filing Shows That Hillary Clinton And The Media Worked To ‘Undermine Our Democracy’

Tulsi Gabbard: Durham Probe Revealed That Hillary Clinton And The Media Worked To 'Undermine Our Democracy’

On Tuesday, former Democratic Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard asserted that the John Durham investigation into the origins of the Russia probe have revealed that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the mainstream media worked to “undermine our democracy from within.”

Gabbard made these charges in a series of posts on Twitter.

Gabbard: ‘The biggest threat to our democracy is not some foreign country, but rather the Power Elite led by the likes of Hillary Clinton’

Tulsi Gabbard wrote on Tuesday, “The Durham investigation has shown that the biggest threat to our democracy is not some foreign country, but rather the Power Elite led by the likes of Hillary Clinton and her co-conspirators in the mainstream media & security states who work to undermine our democracy from within.”

In an earlier tweet containing an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters, Gabbard expressed similar sentiments and also accused Clinton of pushing the U.S. into a “new Cold War,” appearing to cite the tension building over Ukraine.

Conservative media has covered Durham probe’s new findings, while establishment media has largely ignored

Establishment media is under heavy criticism for its lack of reporting on Durham’s Friday court filing, including censure from President Donald Trump.

Durham, the special counsel appointed under Trump to investigate the FBI’s probe into whether Russia interfered in the 2016 election, alleged in his filing that Clinton’s team allegedly spied on candidate Trump and later, President Trump.

Right-leaning media, however, is reporting on the bombshell findings.

The Federalist reported on Monday, “Enemies of Donald Trump surveilled the internet traffic at Trump Tower, at his New York City apartment building, and later at the executive office of the president of the United States, then fed disinformation about that traffic to intelligence agencies hoping to frame Trump as a Russia-connected stooge.”

“A tangential filing on Friday in the criminal case against former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann revealed these new details uncovered by Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation,” The Federalist noted.

“The revelation came in the middle of a 13-page motion Durham’s prosecutors filed in the criminal case against Sussmann,” the conservative news outlet added. “The special counsel’s office charged Sussmann in September 2021, in a one-count indictment of lying to James Baker during a meeting Sussmann had with the then-FBI general counsel in the weeks leading up to the 2016 election.”

Tulsi Gabbard and Hillary Clinton have history

Gabbard has been accused by Clinton of being “groomed” by Russia time and again, an accusation that Gabbard would eventually sue the former first lady over. That lawsuit was later dropped.

But the conspiracy theory that Gabbard has a Russian asset still permeates the left and Democratic Party.

News of Durham findings breaks

Fox News was the first news outlet to break the story about the Durham probe’s latest findings concerning Clinton spying on Trump.

Fox News reported on Sunday, “Lawyers for the Clinton campaign paid a technology company to “infiltrate” servers belonging to Trump Tower, and later the White House, in order to establish an “inference” and “narrative” to bring to government agencies linking Donald Trump to Russia, a filing from Special Counsel John Durham found.”

In a subsequent report, Fox would note that the Durham findings showed “Clinton’s campaign lawyers paid a technology company to get access to Trump Tower servers to create a ‘narrative’ that would link former President Donald Trump to Russia.”
