According to a New York Times report, Donald Trump has told his advisers that if Democratic candidate Joe Biden is certified as the winner of the 2020 election, the President will announce a 2024 campaign shortly afterward.
If Trump runs again in 2024, he could face either Biden or even Kamala Harris, given the former vice president’s age and questionable mental state.

If Biden Wins, Trump Might Announce A 2024 Bid Quickly
The New York Times reported Thursday, “Some advisers had hoped that Mr. Trump would accept the state of the race by the end of this week, but a looming recount in Georgia may delay that.”
“The president has told some advisers that if the race is certified for Mr. Biden, he will announce a 2024 campaign shortly afterward,” the Times reported.
There have been rumors that Trump’s post-office plans include launching his own television channel or some sort of new media project.

President Trump has been increasingly critical of Fox News and many have speculated he might create his own alternative for conservative audiences.
However, if he chooses to run for president over the course of four years, that might make spending too much time on a new media venture difficult.

Sen. Marco Rubio On Potential Trump 2024 Run: ‘He’ll Certainly Be The Front-Runner And Will Probably Be The Nominee’
Sen. Marco Rubio speculated on a potential Trump run in four years to reporters on Wednesday.
“If he runs in 2024, he’ll certainly be the front-runner and will probably be the nominee,” Rubio said. “But again I’m still being presumptuous here, we’re not even through with 2020.”
Rubio (himself a potential 2024 candidate), addresses the Axios report about Trump running again in 2024 and tells reporters on the Hill "If he runs in 2024, he'll certainly be the front runner and will probably be the nominee"… but "we're not even through with 2020"

Trump Will Continue To Be A Force In The Republican Party And American Politics
Indeed. Trump has not conceded this race even as most major media outlets have called the election for Biden.
Regardless of what happens with President Trump, whether his future remains in politics, he moves in to media or does something unforeseen, he will continue to be a force in American politics for the foreseeable future.
