As we celebrate Thanksgiving, it is important to reflect on the numerous accomplishments of President Trump in the White House.
From tax breaks to safer communities, from restoring America’s standing in the world, to the perpetual winning on behalf of our nation, the people have much to be thankful for.
We’d also like to take a moment to reflect on some of the President’s previous celebrations of Thanksgiving – some amusing, some odd, and some just all-American.
With that, we celebrate memories of a Trump family Thanksgiving like no others …
First Turkey Pardon
Last year, the President made a lighthearted joke about Obama’s Thanksgiving birds and the media turned it into some sort of nefarious ‘Trump wants to murder Obama’s turkeys’ narrative.
No, we’re serious. Check out this NBC headline:
In reality, Trump simply made a lighthearted joke about ‘unpardoning’ Obama’s turkeys. A joke that everyone knew was a joke, not a threat to murder the birds.
The President noted how he’d already been quite active in overturning Obama’s entire legacy, and openly wondered about his predecessor’s pardon of turkeys named Tater, and Tot.
“I have been informed by the White House counsel’s office that Tater and Tot’s pardons cannot, under any circumstances, be revoked,” Trump joked. “So, Tater and Tot, you can rest easy.”
Naturally, the media ran with “MURDERER!!!”
Trump’s Message of Unity
The previous Thanksgiving, then-President-elect Donald Trump avoided the comedy routine and instead proclaimed a message that should have – if Democrats weren’t the vile party of obstruction they’ve become – healed our country.
In the wake of a brutal election process, Trump extended an olive branch to those who opposed him.
“It’s my prayer that on this Thanksgiving, we begin to heal our divisions and move forward as one country, strengthened by shared purpose and very, very common resolve,” Trump said.
“It’s time to restore the bond of trust between citizens, because when America is unified there is nothing beyond our reach,” Trump concluded.
Think about that message, a message he delivered even before taking office. Now think about the Democrat party and their recent actions, encouraging mob rule and trying to destroy the lives of innocent men.
Nobody is more responsible for the divisions in this country than the Democrat party. We are thankful that a well-reasoned man took the helm of our nation in 2016 as opposed to another divider from that same party.
Trump’s Mom ‘Gestated’ Her Turkeys
According to President Trump, his mother used to “gestate” their Thanksgiving turkeys which is, uh … a little weird.
Not only did she gestate them, but she did so in record time apparently.
Trump says his mother’s recipe her Thanksgiving turkey was to “gestate” it. Apparently, she carried it in her womb. What a hostess! pic.twitter.com/5fxtsft3Ip

We’re going to guess he meant marinate. Or baste. Or cook, or bake, or fry, or anything other than ‘gestate.’
Hell, some of the same gaffes that made President George W. Bush so lovable apply to Trump as well, and all we can do is laugh.
Trump’s Thanksgiving Past
In 2010, Forbes profiled Trump’s sons, Eric and Donald Jr. and offered a glimpse as to what it was like to partake in the Thanksgiving holiday at their household growing up.
“Part of their success,” Donald Jr. explained, “is the family’s ability to genuinely enjoy spending time together — whether it’s in the office, an airplane or around the family’s Thanksgiving table.”
In 2008, Donald Trump was photographed to help celebrate some of Macy’s most iconic events. This was prior to being dumped by the company because he suddenly became a terrible man in 2015.
Trump posed for a tribute to the traditional Thanksgiving Day Parade.
In 2017, the President paid a visit to the Coast Guard whose service members had been conducting rescue efforts during Hurricane Harvey.

In 2013, the President was in perfect form wishing everyone a ‘Happy Thanksgiving’ as only he can.
Happy Thanksgiving to all–even the haters and losers!

Speaking of haters and losers – Any idea who isn’t pardoning turkeys or even gestating them in the White House?
Hillary Clinton. And that’s something we can all be thankful for. At least for another two years.
