Former President Donald Trump on Thursday attacked New York Attorney General Letitia James amid an ongoing fraud trial in New York where he is accused of defrauding banks and insurers by inflating the values of his properties.

Trump posted clips on his social media platform from a 2018 video in which James calls him an “illegitimate president” and promises to sue him if elected.

“America is in uncharted territory. We are angrier and more divided than we have ever been at any point in our history since the Civil War,” James said in the video. “At the eye of the storm is Donald Trump, ripping families apart, threatening women’s most basic rights. I’m running for attorney general because I will never be afraid to challenge this illegitimate president.”

Trump also shared other campaign clips of James’ in which she says she’ll sue him if elected.

Trump has denounced his legal trials in New York, Georgia, Florida and Washington D.C. as a “witch hunt” designed to interfere with the 2024 election.

Trump is the frontrunner for the GOP nomination.

The New York bench trial, which will be decided by the judge, alleges conspiracy, insurance fraud and falsifying business records.

James is seeking $250 million in penalties and wants to ban Trump from doing business in New York.

  1. American Patriot

The extremely nasty left wing RACISTS Leticia James, Alvin Bragg, and Fani Willis are 3 of the worst examples of the “Get Whitey” theory of revenge by their scam prosecutions of President Trump. The DemonCRAP (socialist/communist) Party is pure evil and Blacks are absolutely stupid to be such a major part of their destructive policies and intentions.

  2. Maybe all this persecution of Trump will be an unexpected positive chapter in history. Will it finally shock Americans into the reality of how deeply corrupt our government and administrative state have become?

  3. Sadly, Trump has a point. James has proven that she has TDS big time. Don’t you just wish that they would seek some professional help for their mental disorders?

  4. How is it that the financial institutions’ underwriters and auditors didn’t pickup on ‘bogus’ over value? Are they all in this too? This is a load of bunk, I’m not a Trump man but this doesn’t make sense. There is too many checks and balances with high finance. All of them could not have been wrong.

  5. Normally the courts would take that into consideration, but with the new get Trump, show me the man and I will find the crime mentality of the courts nowadays, you don’t get that consideration when you are on the poop end of the court’s double standards! That is just the way it is, the whole world has gone hellhole with their so-called justice systems!

  7. As much as I hate to side with Trump, he is right on all counts in this. She publicly stated what she would do, and now boasts of having done so. She should be disbarred at the least, and the state of New York should demand she repay the cost of these investigations and court costs. She is not upholding the law, she is seeking retribution for a supposed harm that has been manufactured.
