President Trump warned Oakland Mayor Libby Schaff – tipping off illegal immigrants about a pending ICE raid has led his Administration to take a look at her “dangerous” actions.
Schaaf issued a warning to illegals on Twitter, tipping them off to a pending raid in her city. Acting ICE Director Thomas Homan acknowledged that the tip led to over 800 criminal illegal immigrants avoiding arrest.
“What she did is no better than a gang lookout yelling ‘police’ when a police cruiser comes in the neighborhood, except she did it to a whole community,” Homan claimed.
“She warned them all, ‘Scatter,’ Trump explained to the media. “So instead of taking in 1,000, they took in a fraction of that.”
“What the mayor of Oakland did the other day was a disgrace,” he insisted.

‘Disgrace’ is an understatement. What she did was criminal.
Trump threatened Schaaf, informing her that her actions are now being reviewed.
“With respect to her, what she did is incredible,” he explained. “It’s dangerous in respect to ICE and border patrol.”
“She made law enforcement much more dangerous than it had to be,” Trump added. “So we’re looking at that situation very carefully.”
The President’s comments seem to bolster reports from last week that the Department of Justice was looking into Shaaf’s actions.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced that “ICE failed to make 800 arrests that they would have made if the mayor had not acted as she did.”
“Here’s my message to Mayor Schaaf,” the AG angrily said. “How dare you? How dare you needlessly endanger the lives of law enforcement just to promote a radical open borders agenda?”

If any law enforcement official or lawmaker had tipped off criminals about an impending drug raid, or an illegal gun seizure, that official would be jailed.
Schaaf needs to be treated in the same manner. Lock her up.
