Former President Donald Trump mocked Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis after news broke that he will surrender to authorities in Georgia on Thursday and that his bond is set at $200,000.

Trump posted about his impending arrest on Monday evening on the Truth Social media platform.

“Can you believe it? I’ll be going to Atlanta, Georgia, on Thursday to be ARRESTED by a Radical Left District Attorney,” he wrote.

A grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia indicted the former President on 13 counts following an investigation into alleged efforts to “overturn” the 2020 presidential election.

Trump claimed the indictment has been at the behest of the Joe Biden administration and is a clear example of “election interference.”

A court document posted online showed the extreme amount the presidential candidate is being forced to pay.

Trump Set To Surrender, Rips Insurrectionist DA

Considering what he’s up against, Trump hasn’t lost his stellar sense of humor. He took to Truth Social later in the day to obliterate Willis and the bond determination, joking about being a supposed “flight risk.”

“The failed District Attorney of Fulton County (Atlanta), Fani Willis, insisted on a $200,000 Bond from me,” he wrote. “I assume, therefore, that she thought I was a ‘flight’ risk.”

“I’d fly far away, maybe to Russia, Russia, Russia, share a gold-domed suite with Vladimir, never to be seen or heard from again,” he quipped, a reference to Democrats’ long-running obsession with the Russia collusion hoax.

“Would I be able to take my very ‘understated’ airplane with the gold TRUMP affixed for all to see?” the former President continued. “Probably not, I’d be much better off flying commercial – I’m sure nobody would recognize me!”

Calls For Willis’ Impeachment

Trump’s comments suggest a man who is unfazed by the many indictments he is facing from overreaching prosecutors trying to make a name for themselves in the middle of an election cycle.

When he’s not trying the comedy bit and joking about his surrender and bond-posting, Trump is crashing weddings and making toasts to the beautiful bride.

The prosecutions are a joke, and he’s enjoying making a mockery of them.

Last week, Georgia state senator Colton Moore (R) called for an emergency session to investigate DA Willis, strip funding from her office, and push for impeachment.

“America is under attack. I’m not going to sit back and watch as radical left prosecutors politically TARGET political opponents,” Moore wrote on Twitter/X.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich voiced support for having Willis removed from her position or possibly impeached.

Gingrich called the Georgia indictment an “absurdity” and said if the state had any self-respect they would get Willis “out of office.”

Officials have said that when Trump surrenders, he will very likely be fingerprinted and have his mugshot taken like a common criminal.
