Former President Donald Trump responded to Joe Biden’s speech Thursday night in which he vilified “MAGA Republicans” as extremists and a “threat to this country.”

Biden’s speech had all the elements of an authoritarian production as he continued to divide the nation by portraying Republican voters who support Trump as a “clear and present danger” to “democracy.”

The speech, delivered by a bitter, bitter man, used the phrase “MAGA Republicans” or some variant over a dozen times, was delivered on a set bathed in blood red lighting, and featured a backdrop of Marines standing guard just hours after he taunted Second Amendment advocates for not having the firepower to take on the federal government.

“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” Biden claimed.

He added, “There is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.”

It is one of the most divisive speeches you will ever hear from an American President. And it was embarrassing.

Trump Hammers Biden’s Speech

Donald Trump took to his Truth Social media platform to blast Biden over his “awkward and angry” speech, suggesting the President has “dementia.”

“Someone should explain to Joe Biden, slowly but passionately, that MAGA means, as powerfully as mere words can get, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote.

“If he doesn’t want to Make America Great Again, which through words, action, and thought, he doesn’t, then he certainly should not be representing the United States of America!”

He also shared an image contrasting his love of America and the American flag with that of a still from Biden’s speech which portrays him as a fascist dictator delivering an impassioned speech.

“If you look at the words and meaning of the awkward and angry Biden speech tonight, he threatened America, including with the possible use of military force,” Trump alleged.

“He must be insane, or suffering from late-stage dementia!”

Biden accused MAGA Republicans of trying to “promote authoritarian leaders” and “fann(ing) the flames of political violence that are a threat to our personal rights, to the pursuit of justice to the rule of law, to the very soul of this country.”

That is a far cry from this message delivered shortly after the 2020 presidential election:

A Dangerous Speech

It’s difficult not to realize that President Biden is intentionally trying to instigate a response from Republicans that goes beyond civilized debate.

This speech is clearly trying to stoke violence.

What’s the downside for him should that happen? If there were to be a riot over his incendiary comments – which the White House desperately wants – they get to put Trump and January 6 on the ballot in November.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson points out that Biden’s deranged speech was not classified as a campaign event, meaning his words denigrating “MAGA Republicans” stand as the official position of the federal government.

They view you as domestic terrorists. Think about that.

“That is what Joe Biden is calling for tonight, a one-party state. It’s shocking,” Carlson said. “You may have trouble believing it’s even happening and yet it is live on television right now.”

Prior to this un-American speech, President Biden called the ‘America First’ philosophy “semi-fascism,” suggested the government could take out gun owners with their F-15s, and continued to label Republicans as an “extremist threat.”

All of the things the media accused Trump of being, Biden actually is.
