On Wednesday, Donald Trump heated up his Twitter war with George Conway, the husband of one of the president’s top advisors, Kellyanne Conway. Calling the husband Conway “a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!” Trump also said Mr. Conway was “VERY jealous” of his wife.
All of this comes after Mr. Conway fired off anti-Trump tweets Monday morning.
George Conway, often referred to as Mr. Kellyanne Conway by those who know him, is VERY jealous of his wife’s success & angry that I, with her help, didn’t give him the job he so desperately wanted. I barely know him but just take a look, a stone cold LOSER & husband from hell!

Trump previously called Mr. Conway as a “total loser” in a retweet of Brad Parscale, his campaign manager. Parscale referred to Kellyanne’s husband as “Mr. Kellyanne Conway” and said “he hurts his wife because he is jealous of her success.”

It didn’t take long for George Conway to respond on Tuesday, accusing Trump of having a “narcissistic personality disorder.”
Congratulations! You just guaranteed that millions of more people are going to learn about narcissistic personality disorder and malignant narcissism! Great job! https://t.co/Dk9bI3sBs7

After the president’s most recent tweet Wednesday – at least at the time of this writing – Conway told Trump, “You. Are. Nuts.”

What Does Kellyanne Think?
When Kellyanne Conway was asked on Monday about her husband’s ant-Trump tweets, she said she does not agree with his views.
“I don’t share those concerns and I have four kids, and I was getting out of house this morning and was talking with the president about substance so I may not be up to speed on all of them,” she said.
Criticizing the president on Twitter is nothing new for George Conway. Just last week, Conway tweeted that Trump was a “liar” and “pathological,” and wanted a “serious inquiry … about this man’s condition of mind.”

Criticizing Trump and questioning his mental state, Conway tweeted, “At any level of government in this country, in any party, have we ever seen anything like this? It’s beyond politics. It’s nuts. It’s a disorder.”
Conway told the Washington Post Tuesday, “The tweeting is just the way to get it out of the way, so I can get it off my chest and move on with my life that day. That’s basically it. Frankly, it’s so I don’t end up screaming at her about it.”
He still maintains he is proud of his wife, “No one was prouder than I was that she was able to elect this man president despite his obvious flaws.”
Why Does George Conway Do This?
Still, the question remains: If you truly love your wife and are proud of her, why on earth would you constantly undermine her on social media by attacking her boss?
Can you imagine if the roles were reversed? If Secretary of State Mike Pompeo or top adviser John Bolton’s wives were constantly attacking the president on Twitter? It’s hard to imagine anyone involved putting up with that.
Putting aside whether George Conway’s criticisms of the president are even valid – what kind of a husband would do such a thing?
