The following interview between Fox Business host Neil Cavuto and a Bernie Sanders supporter who argues for everything from a free college education, to cancellation of all student debt, to a $15 minimum wage, will make you weep for the future of our country.

Darlette Scruggs, organizer of the Million Student March, is everything you’d expect from a big-time fan of socialism – angry at the wrong things, feels entitled, very loose grasp of facts, etc. But what makes the interview especially intense is that she came to Cavuto clearly looking for a fight.

And while she clearly lost on the intellectual front – arguing that “this system of capitalism has proven itself illegitimate” and claiming “there is money lying around” to pay for her wish list of free things – Scruggs was bound and determined to win on the obnoxiousness front.

Win she did.  You can watch the entire interview here, but here is the last segment when things really go off the rails …

Via Fox News Insider:

Cavuto pointed out that the U.S. national debt is currently at $19 trillion, and her candidate of choice, Bernie Sanders, has admitted that these massive changes to the educational system can’t be made without increasing taxes on both the wealthy and middle-class Americans.

Scruggs agreed with Cavuto that it’s important not to just raise taxes, but also to see how those tax dollars are being spent.

“We’re spending our money on wars, we’re spending our money on tax breaks for big, wealthy corporations,” Scruggs said. “This system of capitalism has proven itself illegitimate, and it cannot provide basic things like education, shelter, health care.”

Actually, capitalism has proven quite adept at providing things like education, shelter, and healthcare – to those willing to work for those products. Maybe not so much for those expecting things to be handed to them for free.

Scruggs interview reminds one of another exchange between Cavuto and a free education supporter, Keeley Mullen. That video went viral when the student was completely baffled by the concept that others would actually have to pay for all of the free stuff she was demanding.

Check out that interview below …

At least Scruggs had the sense to deflect through her anger that she has no idea how the economy works.
