The Media Had a Total Meltdown Over Trump’s 2024 Announcement – Look at These Unhinged Headlines

Donald Trump announced that he is launching his third campaign for the presidency in 2024 Tuesday night from his Mar-a-Lago home in Palm Beach.

The announcement comes in defiance of numerous GOP officials who hoped he would delay any declaration until after the Georgia Senate runoff.

The crowd in attendance was greeted with a simple message as Trump was introduced: “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the next President and First Lady of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump!”

Remarkably, however, Trump’s speech remained focused and on point – and even avoided any claims of stolen elections, something he has continued to focus on since 2020 and continues to address on social media.

That didn’t matter to the mainstream media. Several outlets seemingly produced pre-written, hysterical messages that focused exclusively on the narrative they’ve built since January 6th.

Media’s Unhinged Reaction to Trump’s 2024 Announcement

The media wasted no time in coming completely unglued over Trump’s 2024 announcement. Their headlines were something to behold.

And they’re playing right into Trump and his supporters’ hands.

Let’s begin with this word salad garbled hunk of trash from NPR:

BREAKING: Donald Trump, who tried to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election and inspired a deadly riot at the Capitol in a desperate attempt to keep himself in power, has filed to run for president again in 2024.

They tossed in 28 extra words that were completely unnecessary for their social media post headline.

And yes, by the way, that is the same NPR that refused to run the legitimate Hunter Biden laptop story, helping to sway the previous presidential election because they refused to “waste our time on stories that are not real stories.”

Perhaps every report run by NPR should be referenced as, ‘NPR, who tried to rig the 2020 presidential election causing integrity issues which resulted in a riot on January 6, reports that …’

Media Meltdown

NPR wasn’t alone in avoiding simply reporting Trump’s 2024 announcement. Here are some more examples …

The Washington Post accused Trump of having “fomented an insurrection.”

In an expanded version of the Washington Post’s announcement, they also took the NPR mush-mouth approach.

The twice-impeached former president Donald Trump, 76, who refused to concede in the 2020 election and is the subject of multiple criminal investigations, is running again in 2024, increasing the likelihood of a potential rematch with President Biden.

Haven’t these outlets ever heard of the old writer’s adage that less is more? Instead, they try to rehash the entire history of the 2020 election in one sentence.

The New York Times said Trump announced his 2024 campaign by “repeating lies and exaggerating (his) record.”

But the Times also managed to squash the Hunter Biden scandal for over a year before they eventually got around to correcting their own repeated lies.

MSNBC, the unhinged outlet of misfit toys that they are, ran a headline indicating Trump’s 2024 run has trapped Republicans in “a prison of their own making.”

Then of course there were the required verified accounts referencing Trump as a “fascist.”

Daily Beast columnist David Rothkopf calmly wrote this tripe, and you can bet your ass he was serious about it.

What a fresh, unique take that nobody had ever come up with before.

Left-winger Dean Obeidallah told his followers that there are only a handful of ways to stop Trump in 2024.

“History tell(s) us that fascists like Trump control over supporters only ends when the leader: 1. Jail for life 2. Goes into exile 3. Dies; Or 4. Is executed,” he wrote.

Dean is a frequent contributor to CNN, The Daily Beast, and MSNBC. And he just seemingly suggested to his listeners and viewers that the only way to stop Trump is to kill him.

The most amazing part about this is that Trump has been hinting that he’ll be running again for months on end, if not since the previous election concluded.

And he came out and gave a professional, buttoned-up speech that never mentioned stolen elections and stayed on message.

And the media still lost their minds.

Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
